  • Hi all, I missed out on the first payment of the year by 2 days as I was working at the time but previous to that I got 2 payments that were paid on the 1st day of the payments being made.

So I was a bit concerned that I hadn’t got my payment yet as I knew I was eligible this time.
I sent a message via the payment section in my UC journal on Friday to see if they could confirm I was due a payment and got a message back a few hours later saying my payment had been processed and it will be in my account on Tuesday the 7th November 🙂

It might be worth doing that maybe on Monday if your payment isn’t in because it looks like they can see if the payment has been processed or not 👍
That seems strange for two reasons.

Firstly if you look at the previous payments for the first col in april 23 they paid tues, wed, thurs, tues, wed ie no payments on fri or mon.
With the pip col payment they paid everyday ie tues, wed, thurs, fri, mon.

This time around we known they have paid tues, wed, thurs, fri. Since they paid fri it seems that they are following the pip payment patter meaning that the next and final payment should be mon not tues.

Secondly when I asked UC they told me they know only that im elgible and have no info on the payments.

So I assume it will be mon not tues. But well find out.

Which you have, so you will get the payment. However we cannot tell you the exact day it will credit your account.

The only reason there were no payments on the Friday and Monday back in April was because of the coronation. It caused normal payment from the bank holiday to be pushed to the Friday, making the CoL payments stop that day, and then the following Bank Holiday meant that no payments happened on the Monday either. Attempting to make up patterns that aren't actutally there, as much as us humans do so love attempting to, will only tie you in knots and is a pointless exercise.

There have also been quite a few people who have been able to find out when they will be paid by contacting their UC advisor in the past. They either have one who knows where to look or is kind enough to do so for them. Most advisors either don't know, or do not wish to be inundated by requests so are saying they aren't able to, which is probably wise.

So as I said there is no reason why the next batch wont be monday. The next batch will be the last batch so tues makes no sense.

There will always been some people they miss so i see no reason why some can't still receive the payment on Tuesday. Seriously, all this guessing and trying to work out what days payments are being made isn't really helping people that urgently need the money. Someone may read your comments and will not expect it on Monday, what will happen if Monday comes and no payment is received? It doesn't matter when payments are made, no one can predict when anyone will receive it.

The info is all there. The last run should be Monday...however of course if there is a reason as to why you should receive it late then it can come until the 19th. Reasons would include a late claim or changing your bank details.

They best understand then that if I dont recieve the payment soon I will be cutting Santa's head off this Christmas, so they best start hitting some positive computer buttons quick!

Based on previous payment cycles I believe by tomorrow over 99% will have been paid. So unless youve changed your bank detials or only recently qualified I expect and hope you ( and I ) will receive it tomorrow.
  • Anybody get paid today....am I the only who hasnt received their payment?
  • Not had mine yet but not worried because it does say up to the 19th of November!
