We wanted to go out this morning but had to wait for the post as I had to sign for something. I let in the cleaner who does the communal areas and filled her bucket with water and administered A's first eye drops. Whilst we were waiting for the postman I did a load of washing and put a second load on and went out for the paper. By the time the postman came it was too late to go out and do everything before lunch.Took a phone call from our neighbour with the water leak, made lunch, more eye drops, took in and put away a delivery, and then we went out to the bank, the building society, and to Waitrose for a couple of bits for tomorrow's meal with our friends. After Waitrose we went to a wine shop to collect the wine for tomorrow and Sunday's meals and finally stopped off at the butcher to collect the meat for both meals. Just as I was walking back to the car it suddenly started to rain so got quite wet, even though the car was only about 30 yards away. Got wetter still when we got back trying to simultaneously hold a brolly and bags of shopping and open and hold the front door for A on his two sticks.By the time we got back it was time for A's tea and biscuits and my coffee. Put a third load of washing on and when that was finished did multiple TD loads. Made supper, washed up, discovered (despite going to Waitrose earlier and having had a delivery) that there wasn't enough milk for A's breakfast (how useless am I) so popped out to a nearby shop that's open late. Watered some house plants, opened some Amazon parcels that had arrived earlier and then administered the last eye medication of the day and helped A into his nightclothes as he was struggling. No time for a walk today but somehow still did over 4K steps. Tomorrow I need to fly supersonic so will try to go to bed myself shortly.9

pigpen said:Having had a barrage of allergy tests run.. apparently.. I am severely allergic to..... horses!!!!!!!!!! pmsl.... they are terrifying hellbeasts as I knew all alon.. who the heck is allergic to horses?! That can only be me!!! I am actually a freak! Still waiting on a load of results but this is the funniest so far..
I went for tea with my mother.. instead of sorting the bedroom.. I did clear the airers and hang up 2 loads of wet stuff before I left.. I wasn't utterly lazy
C&C loaded the DW, washed their bedding and then made loads of mess cooking food.
I am so tired. I may need my bed.
I had a patch test and it came back that I'm severely allergic to housework.11 -

FWIW Piggers I have heard of that. (horse allergy)
I ran the DW empty again, after cleaning the bottom bar so I have surmised that the water in the bottom was caused by water draining back from the rotor arm etc (i could see it draining before i cleaned it). So I have saved my firm £££ as the hour or so I spent fiddling with it did the trick and i am way cheaper than an engineer. There is now a laminated sign above it giving advice - basically scrape the pots before putting them in the DW, ideally rinse them.
At home I WUALTD, DW, TD and WM locked and loaded. Been to visit the aged P in hospital as Mum is not able to, as she’s at my sisters.

Morning all
DS stayed last night and I heard his alarm at 5.45am so got up. Randomly decided to go through the storage boxes in our big hall cupboard and have got rid of a bin bag full of stuff including DHs old bike helmet which he will probably be cross about if he finds out. No one needs two bike helmets and he didn't know it was there. Bin bag squished into wheelie bin.
Freezers have been turned off and contents emptied into cool bags and boxes. While the ice starts melting I am going out on my bike for an hour as the weather is dry and still for once. I am a tiny bit nervous about cycling alone but DH is home if I need him (which I won't). Just decluttering some porridge first.
DH has taken the kitchen curtain pole down for painting so I will get the curtains washed. I had to pull tumble drier out to turn the freezers off and there is a huge mass of dusty cobwebs on the wall behind it, might need help dealing with that as I hate cobwebs.
Catch you all later x

Hallooooo xx
Did I mention that I'm on Annual Leave now? 😊 Had another good day at work yesterday. And was praised for my positivity and for embracing the changes to the Service. And it was mentioned how quickly I'm picking up the new system. I'm loving having to think what I'm doing....didn't realise how stale I'd become. I suspect everyone expected me to struggle. Well yah boo sucks maybe I'm not as predictable as they thought 😉
Anyhoo I declined the invitation to postpone my Annual Leave until everyone else got up to speed and pootled off to my hairdresser's appointment. Called at Mr C00p on my way home and bought myself some messies to start my hols off.
Slept in til 8.45am. I'm up, made my bed (flying), brought down the laundry hamper, (shows intention to fly) and I've supped my first brew. I've taken my meds, and completed Wordle and Wordle (spoiler alert: I didn't know that the Isle of Man was a country 😳).
Reading how much flying other flyladies fit into a day is exhausting! I'm going to have another brew, breakfast, then
Get dressed
Feed the birds
Put out the rubbish and recycling
Sort the laundry
Set a load swishing
Then it'll be time for a coffee and mince pie. After all I am in Annual Leave 😉
Love to all

Anyone want a 10 mth mini JR puppy 😂😂? He's raging delinquent, into everything, refuses to do as he's told, keeps annoying the older dog, destuffes his toys, is full of raging hormones..and hardly sleeps unless he's in the puppy crate. Which he's in a lot at the moment..thankfully he's going to the vets to be done on Wednesday.
DH is not happy though as the pup is annoying HIS dog...lol And says I ignore him (DH). Oh and I shout at the pup. I have to tell it off and give him commands but I have to say it forcefully otherwise he won't listen.
Oh and pup does get two 45min walks a day.
Sorry had to rant.. 😆Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

Sounds like you have your hands full Natty.
I've done what I said I was going to do plus put new bin bags in the emptied bins. First load is artfully draped on the airer. As I'm not under any time constraints I'll get this load dry before I set the next load swishing.
Coffee and mince pies next.
It's raining here. 🌧
