Hallooooo xx
Work was fine thank you YL. I'm actually enjoying getting my teeth into something new. I was told today that I'm picking the new system up very quickly 😇. And praised for my positivity!!!! Who am I? And where's round? 🤣🤣
I'm home, brought in the emptied bin and recycling box (that's flying), changed into my scruffs and made myself a coffee.
Hope the antibiotics kick in quickly Valli xx
Hope everyone is safe and dry.

Hmm, Piggers, I misread that as “move OH into alcove”…
It’s been a wild day here, but not as wild as I expected. Rain has lashed it down, and there are floods everywhere. The fields are leaking right over the roads. I had to plan my route home to avoid the really low / canalside areas, but that worked ok. Now I am home, to find that the boiler broke this morning. Grrrr. We hadn’t actually turned our heating on yet, but it was getting to that point. DH tested it all a couple of weeks ago and of course, everything was fine then.
Flying for today will shortly take place - I need to cook dinner, as I am starving. Oh, I did fold clean washing before I went to work. Not sure what DH has been doing all day, but I am sure that he has been very busy…
Oh and result - I actually submitted my tax return last night, almost making my end of October deadline. One frog well and truly eaten.9 -
Fayolle.. the original idea was to move him into the alcove but I thought it might be a bit claustrophobic.. so we are putting the bookcase there instead..
I have no bed…
I do have 3 bags of rubbish, 1 bag for CS… and a wardrobe all ready to move out of the alcove so the bookcase can move in.. then I can start rebuilding my corner of the room.I need to go mountaineering to get stuff from the top of the wardrobe but the chair is buried I’m not doing well here lol

You’re going great guns Piggers xx
In bed with a hot water bottle. No rain forecast tomorrow thank goodness. Alarm set for 6am, would like to get a head start on the day even if it means feeding the animals in the dark.Kitchen has been put to bed and a small amount of laundry is drying over the airer. DS bedding needs changing tomorrow and upstairs needs a jolly good hoover.Sleep well all xx10 -
he’s much brighter today with vague memories of ‘fighting ogres’. and has apologised for the bad language…and did look sheepish but clearly what was wrong was messing with his mind.
I have told him we will clear some of the carp from the house. There’s a bed i could have slept in. but the floor is cluttered.

Good morning all xx It's Friyayyyyyy 💃💃 join me in the Friday dance anyone?
I'm up, made my bed, dressed, packed my lunch, eaten breakfast and I'm supping my brew.
I forgot to say...now that the top !!!!!! knows what's involved in covering Phlebotomy calls she's not sure she wants us to do it!!!!! 🤔 And the only reason there has been any exchange of information is because I kicked off when I was told to do it and tried to do it with no training whatsoever.
And ...while I'm on my soapbox 🤣 - no-one told us what to say regarding the changes to the Service, but we've now been told that what we have been saying is wrong and not to say it again. I'm convinced my alter-ego is Muttley! Gnashingthrashingmutter 🤪
I'll feed the birds, put out the recycling, and tootle off. Hairdresser's appointment on my way home and then Annual Leave 🥳
Have a good day

Morning all,
Happy Friday and happy annual leave to you Round when it arrives!!
It is bright and breezy here, lovely to see the sunshine! I have fed the animals, the dogs have had a good run (and are very muddy), got some chilli out of the freezer for tea and spot-cleaned two areas on the sofa. Oh, made my bed too!
Food delivery due this afternoon, and sheep going off tomorrow for a few weeks holiday
Have good days all xx11 -
Morning all,
Annual leave has started here already 💃. Ok, it is just the one day, but every little counts, apparently.
Off to see some friends later. I will be passing so many flyladies on the way northwards that my arm might ache from all the manic waving.
I have put away the clean washing, might sneak in HHI so that I come back to a domestic haven. Ha ha, who am I kidding. To quote HB - better is (has no choice but to be) good enough around here.
Warm porridge downed (no heating, plumber coming Monday, fingers crossed), need to sort out some new knitting - socks for DD - as I have finally finished her top, after much pulling back. I will plan to sew that up this weekend.
Have a lovely day all. Keep safe, warm and dry x8 -
Morning all.
@Valli glad to read your Dad is on the mend.
I'm going to do my bedroom today but will need to use the TD for the bedding. The forecast is not as clement as they anticipated yesterday so it won't stand a chance of drying if I put it on the line.
I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
