I gave up on trying to get to sleep around 4 am. Unfortunately I spent money instead of sleeping. Mostly from charities and some items were picked out about 6 -8 weeks ago, it was just a matter of remembering where to go back to. Read through reams of procedure and still wasn't sure the forms I was being directed to were the right ones so decided to toddle along to the Court house and ask for help.
I went the long way round as I had the old stamps and the swap form to hand (they've been taking it in turns to hide) so posted that then zigzagged back. Court does not seem to be open (it's still up on the website). If I have to go to Wigan it will have to wait until tomorrow anyway. Went in little Arseda on the way back - some ys bargains and salad stuffs and teh stir fry deal x 2 but will probably just have one in a bowl with a drizzle of balsamic salad dressing for now..
Went in the library, sat down to finish the last few pages of my book and returned 3 books then came home - I was out for over an hour and a half. Ate a sandwich, put away the shopping then came upstairs. I'm going to have a hot shower and then see if I can have a nap. I need to be downstairs again by 4 pm unless DS3 goes down. I'm going to consult wwith him and make a decision on a replacement laptop. I downloaded a couple of books by favourite authors this morning an`d have 2 pre-orders, one due December 1st and the other on the 25th so I won't need to trail physical books to DS1's for the holiday. I looked at some magazines this morning - when did they get so expensive, over £6 and they weren't high end ones. Will go back to the cs in the mall I think.
Grateful for still being okay - my legs and knees hurt because I haven't slept and I did have some tremors but doing okay, a new and slightly addictive game, the prospect of a clean comfy bed and a long sleep.9 -
Had a great afternoon in the local pub having lunch with the lovely cousin. She really is the best person I have ever met. She is so kind but has a really wicked sense of humour. Love her to bits. xxxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.11

Nothing achieved today as head cold has got worse. Called in sick and vegetated on the sofa all day. Much needed.
Actually I did get 2 loads of washing done and emptied the bins, that's good enough for me for today7 -
Feel better soon @lcc86
Good evening turtles!I put fuel in the car so no NSD for me. But I did receive £125 in the new bank account and £11 from V!ntD sales. Earning the big bucks now! 🤣 All incomings have been sensibly swept away into mortgage OPs and DS expenses. I’ve recently regained access to PA after about 2 years so I’ve been popping on there… hopefully another few pennies towards the mortgage. It all counts! This evening I went to a body balance class with my friend. Good to stretch out after a day hunched at the work laptop.Grateful today for a free £125, for friend giving me a lift to body balance, and for tea!Declutter 60 items:

NSD 13. Missed morning volunteering session to meet with Mr Plumb the Plumber 🪠 for a quote for a new heating system. Will wait for the written quote. Managed to make it to afternoon volunteering though. Felt like a wasted day. Did get some Gossip, which was nice.
Scaffolders didn't turn up to modify the scaffold and are not answering Mr Builder's calls. Now he is annoyed. Oops!4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Exercises done before breakfast. Made a salad for today & tomorrow's dinners & used my new mini salad dressing bottle, to decant my mixture into. Worked well & no leaks 😊
Work went ok despite indoor breaks due to the weather. Left early to take DS3 for his minor op. All went well & he can't wait to show off his 2 stitches & the scar he'll have! Boys, eh?!
Filled in the online forms to claim strike pay back, so another thing off the list.
Shortened 4 pairs of trousers after tea, then phoned mum & had a laugh. My dad has apparently started to realise the sham wedding was all a scam, which we've been trying to tell him all along, so he won't be marrying into millions, nor getting his hands on gold bars!
Good news is that my auntie is home from hospital, after being in for over 2 weeks. Just in time for her 79th birthday tomorrow 😃
Grateful for my auntie being home, DS's op going well, another 3 bags of sewing done, a NSDUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Today was a somewhat quiet day. I mostly just worked on the computer all day. Meant to go to the Library to clean up today. Will have to work twice as long tomorrow as RL interfered. Roommate Di asked me to help her make an appointment for a doctor's appointment. I did - it was to be a phone appointment. Okay - no problem making the appointment - but when they called to take her payment first, I found out she hadn't let them know she had changed insurance policies. There wasn't supposed to be a co-pay - so after three attempts, being cut off twice, and spending over an hour on the phone, that was finally straightened out. She was able to talk to the doctor and he gave her the referrals that she needed. But by then if was too late to go to the library as she also had a therapy appointment today. This appointment had been set up by her new insurance company with the therapist, so no problems. She went by and picked up the waiting prescriptions. But she now has more waiting at the pharmacy tomorrow. Oh well, it is on the way home from the library anyway.
Decluttered the trash today with the help of roommate G. Otherwise just the normal trash out. He is also making a chicken dinner tonight.
It was a very windy day today. The most exciting part of the day was my friend Pam called from Colorado. We talked for about an hour.11 -
Spend day today. Still off sick and feeling bleurgh, caved into all my worst urges and ordered takeaway for breakfast. In my defence (lol) there was little food in the house but it obviously wasn't necessary...
Lay on the sofa most of the day, had a surprise call from the pharmacy about a prescription so went to get that as well.
Not much else to report today. Hopefully back to work tomorrow.10
