Hello!  Apologies for being MIA, but I can assure you that the potting has continued apace and I'm revving up for a big reveal towards the end of October.  I had a bumper pot from my cashback account of just over £20 from every day spending.  Absolute winner in my eyes!

@Sue-UU - best wishes to you and your DD.  At least swift action is being taken to double check everything.

@lucyhope - my deepest condolences to you.

  • Thank you for your messages of condolence, they're really appreciated.
The next nightmare is the new protocol for registering a death. Whoever thought this up must not have had anything to do but make a procedure that has worked forever now complicated under the guise of 'new, simpler and improved,'

Tough days @lucyhope and also worrying days for you @Sue-UU

Thoughts with you both. Happier and less worrying times will come, but that’s little comfort at times like this.

I’m still potting away. Not many weeks to go now

Hello Potters, I hope you've all enjoyed a really good week, though a couple of chilly days for sure! 3
For all those ill or feeling down in anyway. Get well soon and best wishes from us all at SPC. 3

Hello Vicky! It's so good to see you.
Don't worry, it didn't even cross my mind that you wouldn't have still been potting well, extremely well by the sounds of it!! I look forward to seeing just how well in October!

Lucy, I wasn't even aware there was new protocol for registering the death of a loved one, it almost seems Irish, no offence intended at all. Do you mean to say a Dr hasn't registered G's death yet?!
It's a sad shame they haven't made it more public. Take great care and comfort each other

So very many thanks dear potters 🙏 for your very kind words which are so appreciated.

Our DD came round late yesterday afternoon and burst into tears with her thumbs up before hugging us tightly and telling us the brilliant news she'd received from the second hospital telling her that they'd had all the results back from the biopsies and everything was benign!!!

We thought she would be having the op today, but thank the dear Lord it's no longer necessary! She doesnt need
So much relief for her and for all the family.
Very many thanks to you all too. 😘

    Have a really lovely weekend!

    Sue x
The end date for SPC is on the 24th October 2024..........BUT no later, please!

Last Friday I was stung on my wrist by a wasp. I washed it, iced it and put antihistamine cream on it. Saturday I had a small red lump but by Sunday it had blistered and I had a swollen red line up to my armpit.  Luckily it didn't spread any further and I've been given antibiotics but it's my right arm so it's hard not to use it! We are off on holiday next week so I'm really hoping the swelling and redness will have subsided by then.

Another fiver this week, sending gentle one armed hugs to all in need 🤗

    Ouch @siju
Wasp stings are very painful. I tend to run when I see a wasp. I never get how people can be scared of spiders but not wasps.
Wierdly, vinegar seems to help the sting, have you tried that?

I added another  9 pounds or so today
