I didn't even see the wasp to run from it @AntoMac. I was carrying a heavy box out to the car with my DH and felt it sting the underside of my wrist. We weren't at home so didn't have access to anything immediately, but I have heard that vinegar can help. Thankfully the antibiotics seem to be working now and the infection has started to go down.
Hi SPCers, I hope you've all enjoyed a really good week, though a couple of chilly days for sure!
For all those ill or feeling down in anyway. Get well soon and best wishes from us all at SPC.
Bless you Siju, what a relief indeed, she has enough to do in putting up with with her MS, but this was amazing!
Bless you Lucy, especially with all you've had to lately.
So very many thanks Vicky! An amazing relief!! Well done with the £2
So very many thanks to you too Ant, amazing!! Well done with your 2p!
1p for me today too!
I've never heard of such a horrible Wasp sting, Siju!
😯 Never heard of one needing antibiotics either. Try vinegar in
future, it's excellent. I so hope it soon gets very much better and
allows you to go away on holiday ok. A one armed 🫂 back.
T has never had a Wasp sting Ant, but he was bitten by a house Spider about 30 years ago and by golly did he know it!!😯
I quite agree with vinegar with Wasp or Bee stings, marvelous!!
Brilliant with the £9!!
£20 transferred from our account in to the SPC account...at last!!
Have a really wonderful weekend folks!

Ooh I won't tell DH about the spider either! His feet move so fast when one scurries across the floor 🤣 He will use a glass and paper to catch them and put them outside now, but it took a long time for him to be brave enough to do that!
Potted a bit of small change 😊 enjoy the weekend xx

Does she not see it then Ant ? Or is it that she doesn't know about them biting? T always used to pick them up until on picking one up it bit him!
It was that fiercely that he's never done it since!
It's
always a case now of a jar over the top and a piece of cardboard/stiff
paper and taking it walkies to the other side of the lane with the
instructions of never to come back!!
My
eyes are furtively searching for any throughout 'spider season' which
has just ended, they only come in to mate which means any others there
are always female ones the rest of the time!! 😯 Fingers 🤞 there won't
be any any next year as T also got, what we believes to be the female as
she was so close to where the one that went walkies and scuttled back
in the nest after his nibs was caught
Well done for the money found and potted!
Oh Siju,
you really made me laugh when you said about your DH's feet moving so
feet as he scurries across the floor!! 🕷️ Imagine hundreds of littluns
hatching and racing around the house!! 😯😯😯😯
Well done with the small change!!
Have a good week folks!

DH would be hanging from the rafters if he saw hundreds of little spiders Sue-UU 🕷 😅 Well we had a fabulous break in Mallorca celebrating our DGDs 1st and 3rd birthdays. Their other grandmother lives there and it was lovely for us all to be together. Autumn seems to have arrived in our absence. Potting my usual £5 this week. Enjoy your week 🍁🍂
A £2 coin roadkill yesterday and a further 2p roadkill today. Some other coins put in the pot too along with some rail delay compensation

I can't believe that we're nearly at the end of this SPC! Just a few weeks to go! I potted a whole 13p this morning from cashback and then another £4 because I resisted buying a coffee out and had a slightly less fancy one at home.
I've spent the last week on the school residential - 24 x 9 year olds! I needed that coffee!
