Brilliant with the £15 refund mummytummy!I'm so pleased you manage to get back regularly, though not exactly the best of weather for you, especially this year, though it wasn't great last year except for June and we've had grotty summer so far, so I think we'll all be putting our winter clothes on before long. 🙄Enjoy the rest of your stay.So you've got plenty on your plate then Hetty! I think most of us, if not all of us, have been in your situation, but not so many when it's in a COL Crisis, so all our very very best wishes to you and all other parents at this time, especially to those who may well have twins or more than one child.I've no idea what SIX are apart from what you've saidI've no idea what SIX are apart from what you've said, but enjoy it/them when you go!Hello Makingaboro2! Please don't worry about how much you're able to pot cash wise although obviously you'd like it to be as much as possible. It's certainly not easy these days though what with one thing and tother, but whatever you're able to save be very happy and very proud of!!I quite agree with you Siju, anything is better than nothing for sure.Brilliant with another £5 saved!!Like you, I do so wish we had more sun and definitely less rain and wind!! There's nothing in the pipeline according to the Met, so depressing when it's the same old rince and repeat every week. I know a lot is due to the Jet Stream, but....!🙄Have a really lovely weekend everyoneSue xAnyone wishing to join us, please just ask and you'll be made very welcome. The end date for SPC is on the 24th October 2024..........BUT no later, please!

Well we had a nice bit of sunshine yesterday for a change. Got a good amount of long overdue garden tidying done over the weekend, culminating in the usual near miss for the England football team. Ah well, there’s always next time….and the one after that….
Still potting steadily, but more slowly than the first half of the challenge definitely.
Hope everyone is ok and has a good week.27/5/17 Mort 64705 BTs 1904031/12/17 Mort 59815 BT 1673007/04/20 Mort 49208 BT 1572128/07/20 Mort 47387 BT 1263414/11/20 Mort 45905 BT 10134 20/05/21 Mort 42335 BT 686811/08/22 Mort 32050 BT 2915Sealed Pot Challenge 16 Number 53 -

Well, I'm back from my weekend in London with our DGD1 and oh! she was so excited it was unbelievable! While they were at the gig I went on the tour bus and had a trip to Harrods just to say I'd been there!! My biggest surprise was London is pretty much cashless. The only cash I spent was taxis and the Sainsbury local round the corner from the hotel and still got through £200 in 3 days!!! Beans on toast for us for a month I think.

Hi SPCers! I hope you'll all really enjoy a new week.

Hi Ant, T and I made the best of that sunny day too, and got quite a few odds and ends done while the weather was fine. While the weather's fine we have to make the most of it because they don't come around too often.I watch a weather programme on YouTube called Deep Dive by the Met Office, all the ins and outs to do with the weather, it's been excellent to learn about the things we didn't know about, trouble is most of it has been covered now.Anyway, I still watch that and the 10 Day Trend just in just something new comes along.I didn't watch the football, we're not too keen, but the Wimbledon men's final was amazing with the same result as last year. Now that Roger Federer is gone it's so interesting with Djokovic and the young Spaniard, Carlos Alcatraz. The same result as last year but an excellent match!!Fingers crossed for you and me in the future with our potting!A shame about Gareth Southgate though, personally I thought he was brilliant especially compared with some of the managers of the past.Brilliant potting LMD!!!Crikey that's excellent potting in your 2nd post LMD!!!Splendid potting blubella!!We've all been catching up with some gardening and outdoor work while the weather was good Siju! Same again today and hopefully tomorrow no doubt. It's wonderful to get the washing dried too.Another great £5er!!Hello Lucy! So you and DD1 have been on your weekend to London! Just goes to show how late I am in replying to you!! 😱 Any day now, I promise!I'm so very pleased she so enjoyed the gig and that you enjoyed your trip to Harrods. I suppose they stay cashless is because of the very many visitors they get from abroad, very wise too!You could do worse than having beans on toast for a month, quite nutritious!I'm so pleased you all enjoyed yourselves so much, personally I can think of nothing worse!!! 🥴Have a super week everyoneSue xAnyone wishing to join us, please just ask and you'll be made very welcome. The end date for SPC is on the 24th October 2024..........BUT no later, please!
