Hi Ant, when we were at Sidmouth it was the best farm T had ever worked at before or since. The best couple he'd ever worked for, we even visited each other regularly afterwards.
I'm so pleased you visited your wife's family at Christchurch and the children mixed so very well.
We last went there 4 years ago, a really lovely town.
I'm glad you keep on potting, very well done!

Excellent potting Lost!!😀 Great work with hubby's scratch card winnings too!!

Well, Im really enjoying Wimbledon for as long as it's!! :D

Had another busy week trying to sort out my in-laws garden. They have found it a struggle this year so we are attempting to make it a bit easier to maintain by covering lawn areas and veg beds. It's been a lot of work, but yesterday we finished one area and it looks so much better. A great sense of achievement, but my bones are protesting this morning! Ah well, it's for the greater good 😉

Potting a £5 and some change this week. Enjoy the weekend folks, let's hope for a bit of sunshine 🌞

Watched my county cricket team Somerset lose to Gloucestershire at Taunton today. Not all bad news though as I picked up a penny of roadkill in the pub afterwards  :D

Received £15 refund today from car tax due to changing car, came through very quickly (surprisingly) so that’s gone into the pot 😊

Sue-UU I manage to get back to UK regularly and I’m here at the moment. Weather hasn’t been what we expected but we’re enjoying it even though we’re wearing winter clothes most of the time😂

Hello, I am still here and still potting but anyone with kids will know how hectic the last few weeks of term are.  He finishes primary school in one and a half weeks so I have had all the starting new secondary school stuff as well as finishing off primary school stuff.  Today is the only day the calendar is clear until he leaves on the 19th!  I potted £15 this month because I spent £35 on theatre tickets as part of his Christmas present.  SIX is doing a UK tour and is coming back to York for a 3rd time.  I got tickets on the day they were released so go 2 £15 tickets up high and back!  Its a relatively small theatre and SIX is all about the music so should be OK.  I can't believe I'm thinking about Christmas already but I should point out the tickets are for October 2025 so long term planning is required it seems.

Just popping into say my sealed pot is not growing very much as I decided this would only be for cash, and I hardly ever use cash. So anything will be better than nothing. Will just wait and see how much there is in the end

Well done to all our Potters, it's not important how much, as long as you are saving something 👏

Another £5 and some change this week,  plodding along nicely. Wish the sunshine would put in an appearance though 😕 Enjoy your weekend 😊
