A finance industry-led rescue operation to save Leeds-based Communisis is being spearheaded by Lloyds but hopes of a salvage deal were fading this weekend.
It is understood the advisory firm Interpath has been put on standby amid concerns that the company faces the growing threat of insolvency. An estimated 1,000 jobs are at risk.
Fears for the future of the business have been heightened after Lloyds took the unusual step of telling some customers they would be switched to online statements without explaining the reason for the move.”
If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.
Secured/Unsecured loans x 1
Credit Cards x 8 (total limit £51,300)
Creation FS Retail Account x 1
0% Overdraft x 1 (£0 / £250)
Mortgage Outstanding - £138,087.38 (Payment 11/360)
Total Debt = £1,125.00 (0%APR) @ £112.50pm1 -

Very few, I'd imagine. Those that have access I'd expect to be essential workers to carry out maintenance work on the machines that actually do the printing/folding/stuffing, and I'd imagine there are strict rules about leaving things like phones behind when entering the secure area.I'd also imagine the secure area has CCTV coverage, and the staff won't have any misunderstanding about the risk to their job if they start looking at that 'private' information without good excuse.Does it not equally bother you that bank staff could pull up your 'private' information on their computer screens (albeit similar restrictions and consequences would apply) ?5 -

Imagine the amount of people who have access to these paper statements and private information, all ready to fold and place in an envelope to send to the customers. I'll stick with online statements thanks!
From the start of the printing to the sealed envelope being ready for collection the process is all automated.

I beg to differ, particularly on 'rates'; my fiancée and I are paid £30/month + Disney+ Premium (for another year anyway) + 2 subscriptions to magazines which she would otherwise purchase. I'd conservatively value that at £450/year, which is far more than any other banking group would give us - even the ones which we hold 'Premier' tier accounts for. Their 6.25%/£400 Monthly Saver is also decent if no longer market leading.pridehappy said:I’m aware I’ve mentioned this many times before - but I’m honestly not surprised at all for Lloyds Banking Group. Excuse after excuse after excuse, after 80 years collectively as a family all we’ve had is extremely poor service and staff who clearly lack any sort of training and don’t know any basic banking skills (seriously, a staff member in my local branch asked me to explain what an ISA was and the benefits) when I asked a question about a transfer. It’s their own fault if they start loosing customers. Poor service, poor rates, poor experience.
I regard their apps as among the best from the legacy/high street banks. It's not a perfect experience by any means but it is fairly comprehensive. They have some very useful quirks too, for example not hard checking existing customers for (some) new credit products.
I've always been happy with the outcome when I've needed customer service (one small exception being an issue I had getting Disney+, but I think I was dealing with the third party rewards provider at that point, as soon as I escalated the issue to LBG complaints it was almost immediately dealt with to my satisfaction).
All my customer service interactions - during branch appointments, over the phone etc etc have been recorded. I presume your experience also was, and that you flagged the issue up to LBG, right?
• Account randomly blocking transfers resulting in you having to call them every time (app just started crashing)
• Cards randomly declining for me and my partner when we travelled (back then only used LBG) which on one occasion left us nearly stranded (Skipton organised a cash collection from a savings account)
• Left my elderly mother on hold for about an hour and a half when she tried to get in touch as she’d misplaced her card - resulting in her worrying and very emotional over the phone.
• My local branch staff admitted they didn’t have the knowledge to handle these issues alongside anyone at customer service.
I’m guessing all the Club Lloyds benefits come for multiple accounts, which I understand many would want to do, however, I wouldn’t say this is convenient for myself. Plus, my rates were referring to the instant access accounts for larger amounts which my partner preferred having easy access from our main bank.
I guess different people can have different experiences - hopefully it’s issues like this which allows companies to learn from their mistakes.0 -
However, I can confirm that after a discussion with my local branch they have said headquarters has instructed them to print statements in-branch if customers request this, probably didn’t openly advertise this to save costs. I’m not sure who would put the effort to go in-branch though unless you are determined to get paper statements.0

Anyone know when the issue will be fixed?
Can Branch print full statements or just online list of transactions?0 -

To print off credit card statements the customer would have to log in to their online banking then access the pdf copies of the card and print - something that could be done from home. If you do not own a printer just download the statements to your device.0 -
when I asked my local branch ages ago for some bank statements they printed last 3 months of Transactions not official Bank Statements,
didn't think branch can print official statements (like ones you get in the post/Online PDF Statements) unless this has changed,
I am sure Lloyds will get this issue fixed soon,
