Saving session today 5:30-6:30pm

i didn’t get a notification - accidentally clicked on octoplus - wouldn’t have otherwise known

Is it just me, or is Octoplus a bit of a shambles:

I didn't get notification of the first saving session until the next day.

A few days later I got an email apologising and promising 800 points as compensation (of which there's no sign yet).

The next 2 sessions I opted into, but a week later they're still "calculating" and potential savings.

Today my account is showing as having missed a session yesterday, but I've had no notification of it.

I have the Android app (with notifications turned on).

Clicking on the Whatsapp link just takes me to Whatsapp with no sign of anything Octoplus related to select.

In WhatsApp you'll see 'Chats', 'Updates', 'Calls' and so on across the top. Select 'Updates' and you should see the Octopus channel.

@shargrea in WhatsApp you need to check the 'Updates' tab to the right of the 'Chats' tab - that's where the Octopus saving sessions channel would be located, if you've added it or signed up to it.

I just realised that the short notice notifications arrive on Whatsapp and not on the Ocotpus app.  That will explain why I have missed a couple as I don't use Whatsapp.

I use both and had no notification till later on. They did eventually come through but it was late

They are pushing them out on the app too, but the fastest way is always to pull from a feed, not wait for a push.

I had that last month. Logged in a few days later and it was there.
