Feeling brighter KK, not sure if it’s my SAD lamp or the thought of being away next week on my own. Whatever it is I’ll take it. Did have a blip yesterday due to ongoing sadmin but felt better after talking to OH. Hoping to go up to the plot today, weather is pants but we can clean the inside of the greenhouses and stay dry. Time to get sort as the youngest is planning on meeting mum at the gym.

Felt very motivated to declutter and tidy the kitchen. Lots of OD and I mean very OD spices etc. Created a use it up shelf, got lots of half used packets of stuff into containers. I can easily see what we’ve got now. A lot of pasta, I ashamed to say there is almost 20 packets of unopened packets. They are in the awkward corner cupboard that even when I stand on a step I can’t reach. I have to climb onto the worktop to see in it. So that’s been moved. Microwave has been moved near to the window as the youngest couldn’t read the dial where it was. They successfully made beans on toast with cheese. Lots of stuff thrown in the bin. Stuff put on olio. Descent stuff gone to chazzers. Stuff gone in the recycling bin. More cupboards to look in tomorrow, however it the cupboard with the alcohol in and as LadyWithAPlan rightly pointed out it doesn’t go off.
I’ve even cleaned the filter on the hoover.
Very happy with what I’ve got done today.
Time for tea

Congrats on your first wedding anniversary MF! Hope you do enjoy your trip away and relaxDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Holiday cancelled as the youngest became very ill the early hours of Monday. They had been very tired all weekend.I think they have flu as they’ve had a high temp, shaking, feeling cold but not and off food. Lots of coughing and sneezing over me…… so I guess that’s me ill in the future 🤣.Love 🐞
