You certainly do especially when it's not something horrible Merryhen. Glad I made you smile northwalesd.
Really miffed, DH  has managed to lose his wedding ring down the back of the water tank. Obviously not on purpose. Had everything out and it looks like it's disappeared down one of the gaps round the water pipes. We only got it last year to replace the one he'd had to have cut off due to an accident at work severalyears ago. It took us several years of saving to afford it. It cost us an absolute fortune. We had to get it handmade because they no longer sold the same design. Going to go and sob into a bucket of wine

What would you have to disassemble to reach the wedding ring?

Mr KK has a wedding ring but never wears it as he works with his hands and power tools and it’s too dangerous. Most of the time it lives in my earring box 🤷‍♀️😉

  • KK, We will either have to take some flooring up or come through the wall from our bedroom. Either way it's might have to wait as he is struggling to kneel down due to injury.

I know what you mean about wedding rings.  My father always wore one until after about 10 years he saw a lorry driver jump out of his cab & caught his ring on something as he did & lost his finger.  He took his off then & never wore it again.  For once I never heard my mother having a go at him either.  They were like my next door neighbours of about 5 years ago.  They used to have a row every Friday night.  Once they stopped it was all over.  My parents never ever stopped.

DH degloved his finger last time and that's why he had to have it cut off badmemory. He only wears it at home. He's recently lost just under a stone so I suspect it had become a bit big. Didn't cry into a bucket of wine, just a mouthful of his as I'm trying to lose the weight I'll put back on at Christmas. I have 4lbs of goodies to nosh on 🤣, so far.

Loving the idea that you’ve ‘earned’ 4lbs of junk food to eat! 😂 In that case, I have 3!! 😉😂
