Not alot done today as the youngest had their best friend over. Since they are doing different courses now, they doesn't see alot of each other. Sat and drank tea with their mum. Arranged to meet up again before the new year. Cancelled trip to visit eldest and go to the Christmas market tomorrow as weather is going to be atrocious plus friend I was going with is ill.
Frugalness for today
1. No money has left my purse
2. Meet up was at our house instead of suggested pub.
3. Tea was partly provided by the plot (beetroot, lettuce, onions, basil and potatoes).
4. 🚿instead of a bath.

Thanks KK, mediation went well and all parties are talking to each other again, for now. DH managed a short walk, no long term damage thankfully. In fact he went up a ladder today as the outside light isn't working. He pinched a bulb from the front room, except he didn't check if worked. Yep he replaced a blown bulb with another blown bulb, what a plod!.
Spendy day, got quite a few ys items and a few Christmas goodies that are safelystored away.
Frugalness
1. Installed petrol prices app after reading about it on kajikita diary.
2. Lots of ys items purchases
3. More cards sent by 2nd class stamp
4. Re-mortgaging is still ongoing (online work up to date)
5.Free exercise with Miss Giddychops
6. Picked up a 10 litre adblue (empty)container off the side of the road. Will rinse it out and then use it for worm sweat decanted from the wormery
7. Started saving banana skins again ready for feeding the roses next spring (definitely a DH job)

Sounds like things are improving 😊
You’ve reminded me that I need to get some cards written and posted - I’ve deliberately only bought 2nd class stamps this year!

I think i must of gone commando yesterday, no frugal pants to be seen. Visited 2 sm yesterday for Christmas goodies, disappointed not to find stuffed dates as they are my favourite. Spent way too much but it's pretty much done now, just fresh stuff for the day.
Chuffed to bits this morning to spot waxwings on the estate, last time I saw them was about 18years ago in the lake district. I had wondered why I kept seeing people with large cameras out and about.
Been looking at the various supplements I take to see if I really need to and if I do, can I reduce the cost. Not taken turmeric for a week and a bit, but started again this morning as my arm is very painful without it. H&B have their buy 2 get 3rd free so got that yesterday too. Can't decided whether to buy a all round multi vit and mineral or just buy the ones the Dr says I need(B12 - only take when injection is starting to wear off, D, folic acid and iron). I find iron tablets hard to digest, but can take if its an all in one. Hmm I'll see at the weekend if my iron levels are low as I'm going to give blood.

I don't know if this will help but H&B have a today only of 2 for 1, not on everything unfortunately. They also have 10% off & if you spend over £30 18% APP18.
