Had a lovely day yesterday, it's was the eldests birthday🎉. My parents drove over and we all had breakfast together and then had a walk and birthday cake🍰 at the local bird reserve before they went back home. Spent the rest of the day shade(me) and sunbathing🌞in the garden. Reading books, listening to music or playing board games and then an eat it up before we go home Saturday, tea.
This morning we got up early and drove down to the beach and watched a brand new day begin with a lovely sunrise.🌅 We were super lucky as on the way we spotted a barn owl 🦉that flew 10 metres away from the car and flew in line with the car for about 100m. Best views we've had of barn owl and the youngest managed to photograph it. Glad there wasn't traffic on the road as I had to drive quite slowly. Very happy.
    Might have a nap.

Hmmmmmmm. Yes and no. Yes because I am so looking forward to my bed. No because it will mean OH has to back to work and stress is always lurking round the corner. My LS symptoms are currently non existent, so hopefully I've got under control. I'm looking forward to seeing miss giddychops, hopefully she hasn't put on too much wait as mum has a tendency to over feed her. Looking forward to getting back to the allotment and my garden. So I suppose the positives out weigh the negatives.

Had tea out last night and had a gigantic portion of chips and mushies, had to give half to OH as I couldn't eat them all. It was at a restaurant we've not eaten at before and we tend to be creatures of habit, so was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic service, huge portions and a decent price. Visited the beach to try and waddle of some of our tea. The youngest was in their element whizzing about on the sand.
Lovely slow morning, yoga in the garden and then cleaned and tided the cottage ready for the next guest which saved us the normal charge for cleaning.
Back home finally and my bed, utter bliss.

It sounds like a lovely holiday: I can take a lot of this sitting in gardens/eating chips business. :)

    It’s was cherryfudge.
So it’s Monday and the weather has managed to stay dry. Lots of washing dried using nature’s tumble dryer. The washing machine did throw 2 hissy fits and required manual draining and finally spat out a make up pad. So hoping a new machine isn’t needed.
The eldest has finally secured housing for the next year in their uni town. They will need  to bike to uni as it’s on the out skirts, but at least it’s sorted.
Quick trip to the allotment to try and tame the tomato plants and dig up some new potatoes. Talked about moving to a bed system rather than cultivating the whole thing to future proof the plot. This year has certainly been an eye opener of how quickly a well attended plot can quickly be over taken by weeds etc.  Feel better about going forward now that we have gave it careful consideration.
sm shop done £60.34, but got an online bulk shop coming this week. Managed to whittle it down to £60.25 , and everything is on offer.
Miss giddychops has returned from her 2week holiday and is definitely fatter. She had several burrs that had got caught in her coat that mum couldn’t get out , so had to get the scissors out and butchered her coat at the back. At least they are out.
Had a lovely meal out with best friend for my birthday.
