Pulling my frugal pants on.

Note to self. Sort out youngest bank account as they are still refusing to budget, but on a positive note they did listen when I said you have no additional funds this month till the 25th. They did try that wheedle voice of I need…….., but I didn’t fold and stood my ground. So they didn’t go into town. If I put here I might remember to do it tomorrow

Thanks cherryfudge.
Busy day today as meeting up with dad and sis for a walk and a picnic. Dad wanted to eat at the cafe but I know that they don’t sell food I can eat, so a 🧺 was agreed. Plus cost nothing. Well it does, but it doesn’t.
Then need to pick up tester pots for the dining room, wood glue to fix the youngest wardrobe and I’m sure there is something else but can’t remember right know. Allotment later to attack weeds and get the leeks in. Online order arrive tonight 1030.
🧘 done, best get miss giddychops out before it gets too hot.🥵

Had a nice day out but had no energy for anything else other than batch cooking. I remembered what I needed when out and about, so called at BAM to pick up bird food. Quick trip to BBQ for tester pots, so far we’re leaning towards Valencia 🍊 although I quite like 🥝 green. Although our house is on hold until the eldest moves out, so we might change our minds about colors.
This morning the eldest and I went shopping for their graduation outfit and managed to get something they like and it was reduced as well. This afternoon the youngest and I are taking advantage of the 2 for 1 cinema tickets and going to see despicable me 4.I remembered to sort out their bank account finally, so watch this space for tears😝.Love 🐞

😂KK. Thanks for the hat.
All knobs are firmly stuck to their respective doors and drawers. A small irritating job that I’ve been putting off for months took less than 10 minutes.😝.
Off to celebrate with a cuppa

Me too kk, just wish I didn’t procrastinate so much over them.
Managed to get the eldest some shoes for graduation in the sales. Shopping with them is like pulling teeth after 3 shops they’d had enough, 4th shop however had some, thank goodness.Had an easy afternoon, quick trip to the big blue and yellow shop as they finally had the items we needed back in stock. Hopefully get them assembled once the eldest has moved out. They have stuff stored throughout the house, so trying to get our stuff done is a bit difficult. They are heading to uni city today to meet up with their friends to go look at the house they are renting together and then going to the 2nd hand furniture store to order stuff. Managed to keep my purse closed as I know the eldest has more money than us saved. I’ll take them food shopping. It feels wrong not to help them buy stuff but we are trying to save for a new kitchen as ours is falling apart. Spare money is already limited, so it’ll just have to be time and 2nd hand furniture we give.
Meeting up with a friend today who is waiting to find out if they have bowel cancer, they already have myeloma. They should find out next week. I feel so sorry for them, every time they seem to get back on their feet, life deals them another blow.
Right yoga 🧘 done best get miss giddychops out for a walk before it gets 🥵.
