Managed to get another coat on but not the 3rd as we had to nurse our food babies. Tea was a combination of freezer food (pre-made by me) and free food (broccoli and kale) sent by mil as fil is in hospital. Managed to waddle upstairs and watched past sewing bee series before nodding off.
Busy day today already running behind, will have to yoga later.

  • Super busy day with various relatives. Dad has put me on his insurance for his camper an just incase something happens to him. He insisted I test drive it and was surprised how easy I found it. Think he's forgot as part of my job years ago was to drive a long base minibus. Lots of driving about using time I was in short supply of. Just finished painting the front room. Hopefully tomorrow we can have the room back for a couple of days whilst mum is here and then we'll shove everything to the other side of the room and paint the last wall. Really pleased with the colour. Curtains washed just need ironing. Net curtain needs putting  up also. Have been looking in Cs for one for about 2yrs,but due to the size we need, not found one, so ordered one. Cost £16 for the curtain and the wire.
Tea was out the freezer again, no surprises as it was all labelled.
£70 odd spent this morning at the supermarket (took mil) down branded a couple of things, lots of ys items and several that were on offer.
Saw Dr again to discuss health issues. Prescribed lidocaine for pain for when all else fail.

Your room sounds lovely - and a fresh set of nets will turn out to be good thing, all new and bright!

I hope you don't need the lidocaine but it's good to have it at the ready. I'm amazed you are managing such a lot while dealing with health issues.

I’m pleased that you are happy with your redecorated room 😊 That will make such a difference to your mood this coming winter. Well done for persisting with trying to find the net curtain in a CS and then acknowledging that it just had to be ‘got’! Our time has a value as well, and after a certain amount of time trying to find something that way, it becomes a lost investment …

The comment about surprising your dad with how competent you were with the camper made me smile. Go Ladybird! 👏😉😊

Glad the GP was kind and supportive.

Had to phone wheelchair services yesterday as the youngest headrest has sheared off some how. They put it on their emergency list. I doubt their definition of emergency is the same as mine. Just a case of waiting. We did try to cannabilise the part of an old chair but was unable to get it undone.
Curtains are up, just the short back wall to do today🤞. Really happy with the result so far.

  • 2 coats of paint applied, hopefully get the last 2 on tomorrow and then just need to decide where furniture etc is going. Need to declutter several draws and baskets and then my sunshine room is done.
Visited the plot today, sorted out tomatoes and harvested 2 trugs worth of broad beans. Chopped the plants off at ground level. Just 1 more row to go. Managed to process a trugs worth before the bulk buy online order arrived (£80.32),whilt watching old GBSB.
Had another session of massage (£50 birthday money), not sure if I'll go to them again because god can they talk. Not exactly relaxing, with someone yakking constantly. I was actually willing the session to end. I always get them sort of people. Supermarkets, banks, any sort of queue, someone will feel the need to tell me about their life. Makes OH laugh, he always says 'you were only stood with them 10 minutes and you found out all about them' .Anyway I have one more session booked and then I'll look somewhere else for the last session.
Tomorrow will be spendy as taking miss giddychops to the vets for their injections.

Sounds like the broad beans have been productive 😊

I totally get what you mean about people chuntering on during a massage. I want them to concentrate on me and what they are ‘seeing’ through their hands NOT thinking about something else entirely! 🙄

Am excited for your new room! 🤩🌞😊

  • I'm the same when I go to the hairdressers KK. I don't want to talk about holidays, the latest episode of whatever is the current thing is on Netflix etc and I certainly don't want to talk about the weather, politics, hear your life's story or the escapades of the kardash whatever they are called. I just want peace and quiet. I do actually enjoy talking to people but there are times when I just want to be left in my own little world.
Very busy day. 2 coats of sunshine on the walls and hopefully in the daylight tomorrow it will look finished. Then just a case of shuffling furniture.
Visited the plot, lots of hoeing and strimming. 2 rows of French beans in courtesy of the eldest (flying visit to sort out the car they share with grandad).
