They were never really £5 - in December they were on a promotion where if you bought Coke in glass bottles, you got a free bauble. The bauble nominally scanned at £5 but was taken off the bill as a discount.
Our Aldi still has loads of frozen turkey, and frozen party food and most of it isn't really discounted. In years gone by they would have cleared all this stuff out.
I bought some less than half price Christmas puddings in a local shop. They have a use by date of 2025. They won’t last that long though, Christmas puddings have always been my favourite Christmas food
Still some Christmas products lurking in my local big supermarkets - 25p packs of Christmas cards in Sainsbury's and jars of mincemeat on the reduced to clear shelves in Tesco
