Good morning all xx
Thank you Valli - I am very aware that I'm off topic a lot recently. Will try / fly harder. Thank you all for your support too. I'm not heartless: I am concerned about my supervisor but I have to look after me too.
Friyayyyyyy. I'm wearing my pink top to support the Breast Cancer Wear Pink Day organised by a colleague who is now 5 years clear.
I'm up, made my bed, dressed etc etc. It's blowing a hoolie outside. I guess Babet has arrived in the East. I hope everyone is safe and dry.
Have a good day. Get well soon to all the poorlies.

Morning all.
Best night's sleep of all the week. Finally properly on the mend it seems thank heavens.
I'm expecting my drug dealer this morning. I have a brilliant local independent chemist. I ordered my repeat prescription via the NHS app through my GP surgery yesterday. They email it off to the chemist, the very next morning, usually about 10am, a man bearing a paper bag containing the goods knocks at the front door. Such service!
I see today is living room day. As I swept and dusted that room yesterday, I think I'll tackle the bathroom which is in need of a bit of TLC.

I have done a work shift, most dailies, most hoovering and have shortened two pairs of trousers.

I'm having the same with Polly.. she keeps nagging to go out and I open her window and she looks out for a few minutes.. then at me like it's my fault! Actually the next dry day I need to put her a table under the window so she doesn't slip when it gets frosty. She is 14 and we don't want any broken bits
ASB .. I lobbed you a PM... Do not feel obliged.. it was a task I needed to do.. I now have all their summer stuff put away too which I would have put off for weeks.. so thank you for spurring me on to do that.

my town is flooded…shops, schools and businesses closing their doors…DD is in Steel City, at Uni, I’m pondering telling her to go to a hotel. I have offered sanctuary to a friends daughter who teaches nearby but lives across town and out the other side.
