Washing all nicely dried on the line, thank you very much. Salad picked. Greenhouse de-webbed and swept. I know, but that was flying, right? Making chicken and leek pie for dinner, because all the bits created a square inch of space in the freezer. Bathroom s&s. Suitcases back in the loft. Meal plan needed. Ironing pile is toppling, but most of it is DH’s. Not my problem anymore - delegation is a wonderful thing. I will do mine one evening. I intend to start giving him the level one jobs from the list next week, apart from the bathroom as I apparently have high standards - whoever knew, I learnt it all from you lovely lot. Can’t have him twiddling his thumbs in retirement 😈.7

Well we did the shopping centre. DS managed to fulfil his shopping needs but I couldn't find any wine glasses that took my fancy so will resort to online ordering I think.
Never got to sorting out the tomato plants but I did do a bit of ironing.
Dinner is on the way... I have a bit of topside which has been in the slow cooker since lunchtime - just need to do some roasties and veg...
Hope the flooding is behaving itself if you are affected xxx
Meant to add that I have made some bread dough from scratch which is proving by the fire and will give one small loaf and four rolls...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Late arrival at the Flylady Ball just checking in....
Well done to all who managed to stay in bed for a bit longer today. I woke up at 4.45, made myself a cuppa, went back to bed, drank my tea, then went back to sleep until 9.15. Jumped speedily into the shower, and when I went back into my bedroom the clock was still(?) saying 9.15. Hmm, I didn't know time travel was that easy! The clock is in perfect working order.
Had a lovely surprise when an old friend from Millennium City turned up at our church service. She and her DH own a narrow boat and had come down the canal for the rally at the bonded warehouse where I was yesterday, so I caught up with news of lots of other friendsIt will take them 11 hours to get home again - whereas the car journey is about 1 hour. Life in the slow lane
Home to pick up DH and Rosie, then off we went to collect the bag DH had left at the café on the Cirencester road last Sunday. The water meadows where the M5 crosses the Warwickshire (ie not Bristol) Avon were badly flooded, but that's what they're designed for. Bag mission accomplished, and as penance DH paid for another delicious lunchThen we drove to Critchley Hill at the top of the Cotswolds escarpment, with glorious sunshine and clear views to the north and west. Honey_Bear, Rosie and I have now walked about 1 km of the Cotswold Way. If you decide to do that one this summer, I might join you for the rest - remainder, not zzz!
In Flying news, I have transferred 10-11 portions of the stew that I cooked overnight into smaller freezer containers, kept back 2 small portions for tonight's meal, and put the SC pot in to soak. I think I have fulfilled your brief, Jazee!
I still have to write out my list of aspirations for next week and update the church website, but that is all quite straightforward. If I can see well enough by the artificial light to do so, I also need to remove the old zip from my dog walking coat so that I can put in the new one to keep me nice and warm.
Will see you all on the new thread xxx

I sorted Twinkles drawers, I have 2 crates to go on V!nted.. and some extras to go in a parcel..
I am rather tired.. Between pain and DS2 not being home I slept really bedly.. I cannot wait for for Friday.. wishing my life away!! lol.. half term and no school runs is very welcome.. I need my bones to heal. Though, I am waiting for an email from the immunisation team telling me to keep /twinkle off school Thursday when they are polluting the school with flu viruses and Friday when they shedding live virus.. I am not putting her at risk, she is staying home.. but 'I sought medical guidance and then made an informed decision with my parental authority.'
