Morning all. please excuse my lack of posts this week. The real world is getting in the way of life....
Early this morning I was watching a YouTub€ video in which the presenter said "I've come to the conclusion that it's impossible to complete a to-do list." Very true! You cross off one job and three more jump on.
Anyway, today I am attempting to work, which involves sending emails, making phonecalls and writing 4 different documents, in addition to the usual tidying up, hoovering, cooking, filing, getting some exercise, collecting meds, shopping, walking Rosie, and (less usual) sawing a piece of wood - plus anything else that needs doing urgently. And, until I pointed out that it was already raining quite hard, DH wanted to take a trip to the forest for lunch!!! No way, José!!!
Congratulations to Narc0 on planning winding down towards retirement x
(((Hugs))) all round, especially to those coping with illness/longer to-do lists than mine/awkward bosses/more difficult family problems than I've ever had to face.
Speaking of which, healing vibes for a teenage girl (daughter of one of my friends) who has to have major spinal surgery today, and coping vibes for her family, would be much appreciated. Thanks, Flyfriends.
See you later. In the meantime, this might cheer you up and give you something to smile about (and you'll realise that I was procrastinating by reading the news website) xxx

Morning all!Pigpen - your life sounds exhausting. I really don't know how you do it.Round - I was in bed by 9.30pm as well, but I was busy trying to read an elibrary book before it auto returned this morning at 7.05am. Didn't manage it as I fell asleep, only to wake at 5.30am to find dog snuggled right up next to me woofing and running in his sleep again. I managed to doze back off until 7am then frantically screen shot the rest of the book (<100 pages including the reference part) so I can finish it today. If I hadn't done that then I'd have to wait 6 weeks until I could borrow it again. Also means I can work my way through all the articles that were referenced in the book.Today I'm planning a desk day, I have lots of paperwork I want to get done and I'm actually bored of watching TV. Flying wise I've put the clean laundry from the other day away, and I have a bedding load in the machine having an extra spin as I type. I'll hang that, wash up and then start on the paperwork. I was going to vacuum the rug, but my joints are cracking today and I fear I may not get back up off the floor once I'm down there. Can't make my mind whether to borrow an audiobook to listen to while I work, or put some lo-fi music on. Or just enjoy the quiet. I'm leaning towards quiet, but no doubt that means a sulking dog all day as he prefers noise lolOff to hang some washing. *waves madly*Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!7

Still procrastinating. I have showered and dressed, put away an empty (clean) jamjar with its lid (flying!!!) and succumbed to a need to toast with my coffee.
I MUST WORK6 -
Hello all. I've only skim read so hope you're ok.
Lack of posts from me as I've had paid stuff and meeting up with friends. Most dailies are done. Poppet has been walked. I'm going to wash the breakfast and lunch dishes now then make a birthday cake.Spend less now, work less later.7 -
Nice neighbour already has the estate agent in. I am sad. I expect our messy gardens will reduce their valuation
it's so hard to keep on top of the weeding of all the damned gravel and slabs
