Well done to everyone for getting through today, it sounds like the Flylady bus really ought to be spruced up and brought out. I’m happy to drive, I’ve no idea who is nearest but I’ll work out a route and set off in an hour once the wine has chilled for the passengers. If someone could bring crisps and dips that would be great.
Until then, I can report a full day of paid stuff, lambs loaded onto trailer, x1 WM which is now in the TD and needs FUPA, packed lunches made, normal life admin dealt with xx8 -
Evening all.I still haven't done my bullet journal lol I sat down to have a high protein snack, put some videos on about allotments and the next thing I knew it was 9pm and the dog was getting huffy as it was bedtime. Oh well, it's not like I've got much to put in it!I was going to have a rest day today, then realised that if I'm going to the hospital tomorrow on my own, and refusing to get the bus there and back (c0vid is doing the rounds in students-ville and the bus I'd have to get there and back is always full of students) that planning on picking up meds and a handful of groceries from MrA on the way back after being prodded and poked was probably not a good idea. So I went today instead. The 10min walk (according to maps) took me 15 minutes, I then went to look for some more comfortable clothing as everything I own is either too small to be worn at the moment, are old so can be seen through or is jeans when zips & buttons are a no go!! I could not find one pack of knickers in my size that wasn't a thong, and all the pants were either really thin or had zips/buttons. I even checked the mens tracksuit bottoms but couldn't get my size in them either, and I did check as I was texting son to check my sizing on the website while I was there lol Got the halloween sweets, went to the pharmacy and discovered something I'd asked for 2 weeks ago had been put through but the pharmacy didn't have any and no-one had told me it had been put through, meanwhile I've started using something else and it's working fine. Got my meds, then had to call into MrAl to get grated cheese (I don't trust myself at the moment to sliced blocked stuff and no energy to grate my own), and ended up coming out with cheese, mince pies, cookies, a jar of jam and marshmallows..which is apparently way too much with the sweets, coleslaw & choc digestives I already had for me to carry home easily. So the 10 minutes back home took me close on 20minutes as I had to stop a couple of times..and despite me obviously being in pain and holding my stomach not one person stopped to ask if I was okay. When I got back I put the chiller stuff away and then parked myself on the sofa.I have solved my trousers problem for now though, DS had a pair of tracksuit bottoms in the "to go" pile which are more or less my size, so I took the elastic out the waist and now they fit much more comfortably. Now I have 3 pairs of pants I can wear outside lol They'll also fit me for quite a while as they're a L/XL and I'm a XL/XXL. Now I just need the patients to stitch the pockets closed by hand and cut them out before the next time I have to wear them after tomorrow. Today has also made me seriously consider making my own clothes, at least my underwear, as I've already started tailoring jeans to fit my awkward body shape and once my tummy is less sensitive and son has a day off he can spend here, I plan on making my own manikin so I can tailor t-shirts etc to my actual shape. At the minute I'm stuck wearing mens tshirts as that was all I could buy in my size pre-op without the tops either sticking to every single bump or being see through or being so floaty they were impractical to me.Also today I started working on my Halloween window display. I have all the images I want to use, now I just need to blend them together, decide on a Happy Halloween font then I can make a start on painting the thing next week after I've done work (waiting to hear what the hospital says tomorrow before I make decisions on whats happening there).Right, since I need to go the hospital tomorrow and maps is showing me it's a 30minute walk, I best get sorted, do the night routine and head to bed. Hopefully the students who are setting off fireworks (It's got to be as there weren't any over the summer!) will run out soon so I can sleep and without the dog being terrified.Hopefully I'll have the energy to catch up tomorrow after my appointment!Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!7

i went to see the aged ps who were sitting watching a war film and practically ignored me so I came home, they seem to be ok.
Tidied a bit in the DR, did some baby cardi sewing up the rand the lady who has offered grapes for jelly/wine. making. Went with the intention of gathering a couple of kilos. got more than that, have boiled up 1 lot of green grapes, with apples and have but them to drip ove4night. The juice is red *puzzled* but i was advised it would be. they don’t burst like blackcurrants so i’ve had to mash them. Anyway it’s free fruit and i’m looking forward to trying the jelly. I took the lady a jar of my blackcurrant jam.. I envied her the river at the bottom of her garden…I suspect it was the Rother (as in Rotherham) but quite small here. eventually it flows into the Humber
Nikki iirc you live in a certain Northern city beginning with L. What’s a must see for a tourist? The ferry?

Morning all xx
Did everyone sleep OK? I was falling asleep in the chair so went to bed at 9.30. Woke up early but not too early and not overly anxious. Yet! Maybe I'm developing an immunity to stress - if only!
So. I'm up, dressed, made my bed, packed my lunch, eaten breakfast and I'm supping my brew.
I'll feed the birds and put out the recycling before I set off.
I wonder what chaos awaits me today. If only the cockwombles would leave things alone. Or communicate properly so that left hand knows what the right hand is going to do before it does it! I wonder who'll cry or fall out today? I hope it's not me! I'd love to hop on the Flylady bus with asb and sail into the sunset. 🤔 drive into the sunset???
Have a good day. Don't know what I'd do without you all ❤

got to be out early as i have some kind of personal MOT at the docs. Urine sample gathered in funky syringe as per instructions. I shall go to work from there.
Done a washload so want to peg that out. Need to put my grape juice in the fridge. Bizarrely, as promised, it’s pink! I’ll jam it this evening and process the next lot then too.
Hope you all have a good day.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
