Lyca Mobile been down since yesterday

    But I can’t complain too much, I’ve been paying 1p a month for the past 6 months! The company have clearly got issues and I suspect the frontline staff are bearing the brunt of customer dissatisfaction. We all need to remember they are all ordinary people like us, even the backroom staff trying to deal with the cyber attack. These things happen but they’re not the ones responsible for the handling of this issue, that’s down to the board and senior managers. Not ideal situation for many, let’s hope it all gets resolved soon.
    To be honest, the price is irrelevant - there are other cheap mobile providers who don’t treat their customers like this. And I haven’t been able to speak to a single human being either online or on the phone - so there’s no opportunity to be rude to staff!

    Any vaguely decent business would give its customers free minutes and access to data whilst it sorted out its problems with topping up - instead it’s demanding I go to a shop and buy a voucher to get online! And not being able to get a PAC code to leave and save my mobile number from this bunch of cowboys is simply beyond the pale.

    Lyca mobile is a disgrace - it deserves to shut down - I’m a Which member and I’ve been in touch with them about this and I hope this mess sees the end of this scam of a business.
  • Isn't it very surprising that their systems for taking payment for top-ups, bundles etc are working fine but they're still  unable to issue PAC's? I really hope that OFCOM are investigating this whole fiasco extremely thoroughly.

    I did eventually manage to log in to my online account. It took patience.

    I ordered a SIM on Friday 30th with the intention of moving, no SIM has since arrived but I feel like I dodged a bullet and will not go with them now.

    Good luck porting out! There are reports coming in that Lyca are not releasing all files and incoming calls and texts stop working.
