March OP £124.I’m feeling rather skint though. Paid for the family membership to the place we were talking about last Sunday. Paid all up front for 12 months to get the biggest discount we could. So far we have been for a family swim and DH has been to the gym. So money back already. I’m planning on doing a gym induction in the next 2 weeks - I’m a bit busy with other stuff and hadn’t factored in this at the time. But hoping to try a few classes and the gym and see what I like. Also had to pay the remaining balance for our Easter holiday. So I’ve no ‘rainy day’ money left to play with now. Boo.A mouse has eaten the waste water pipe from my washing machine so that’s been a bit of a nightmare. We discovered it when the utility room flooded. Sigh. So I currently can’t use my washing machine and I have a LOT of washing to do. May end up at a launderette tomorrow. We shall see.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Oh and forgot to give a half term update. It started pretty rubbish with DS2 having a D&V bug. We didn’t leave the house until Tuesday. We made the most of it though. So Tuesday DS1&2 had haircuts. Then we went to the place we got a membership for and spent 3 hours walking round the nature trail and playing on the play parks - just money spent on haircuts.Wednesday - they went to the respite group and I worked - £24 for group.Thursday - home day - I worked and the boys chilled out at home. NSD.Friday - Boys made a Minecraft video with their friend. NSDSaturday - chores and homework day. NSD.Sunday - got the family membership - very spendy. But that was literally the only spend.Half term was pretty cheap really (ignoring the membership - but that wasn’t a half term thing as such).Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Urgh. Turns out the mouse also chewed through the wire on my tumble drier. 🙄
So we’ve sorted the tumble drier and got the pipe for the washing machine. BUT we are missing a connector so will have to sort that tomorrow. What a faff.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

So we fixed everything. Then the car broke.
Honestky, I despair. BUT at least it’s happened before we go away. So we should be good to go when the time comes.Feeling a bit woe is me but I’m not sure if that’s just hormones tbh. That said, it could bt stress too. Works a lot, home is generally a lot and my hormones are bonkers too. Plus my family are determined to work together to ensure I don’t sleep anymore so I may just be sleep deprived.I’ll have a restful hour or so watching tv hopefully before everyone else get up, then maybe I’ll be able to sort myself out.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Sleep deprivation is enough to break anyone, without extra stress and hormones. Give yourself a break - no-one can be positive all the time. Life is bloody hard work at times, often all the time. You’ve solved the problems you’ve encountered so that’s the positive to take from it. That and the holiday to look forward 😀

April OP £100.
Ive knocked another month off the mortgage which is super exciting. 😁 So down to March 2037 now - still hoping to pay it off sooner though.Life has been VERY busy and a bit crazy. Still having ongoing rodent wars. We’ve tried alsorts but they’ve chewed through 3 washing machine pipes now. I’m so annoyed.I’m on HRT now as well. I’m only two weeks in and I’m feeling so much better. Switching to the progesterone patch on Tuesday so I’m a bit anxious about how I’ll respond to that because I don’t want to go back to how I was. Fingers crossed I cope ok.Spent loads of money yesterday. New walking boots for the boys and me (after mine were lost to the last Munro we climbed. The boys got new walking pants, DS2 new school shoes and a jacket and then I ordered new joggers, shorts and school pants for DS1. Honestly, I’ve been combing the shops for his size but there has been NOTHING! I also got myself some new trail running shoes.
I am VERY poor, but will have nice new pretty things. 😁Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
