Snots drugged which has made absolutely no difference so I will fling some more at it in a minute.. my chest isn't doing too bad today.
Waiting for plumber to fix the loo... THAT'S WHAT I WAS DOING..... I was going to clear the landing outside the bathroom so it was less sty-like. I KNEW I was doing someting this morning and here I was thinking about where thechests of drawers were going in my room.. honestly.. I hav no brain, it has dribbled out of my ears.

Happy birthday Valli!Thank you ASB and Fayolle. It's good to be back.Dealing with things I bought yesterday to make my life easier in the longrun. It seemed such a good idea at the time, but today .... So, sofrito mix fried. Now to see if I can find space in the freezer. Doubtful. So much easier to put stuff in than to remember it's there when needed. Thinking about frying bananas from the Too Good To Waste Box because Belovéd only eats one a day and I can't eat them raw, but they're lovely and I don't want them to go to waste. I just happen to have a jar of caramel somewhere, and they might just go together rather well for dessert tonight.Dog and I are both a bit knackered after doing three miles yesterday, which makes no sense, but one of my lurking potential blisters decided that was enough. That kiboshes any chance at all of nipping back up to Newcastle, zipping across to Haltwhistle and staggering the last 25 miles really for the rest of the season. Annoying, because the weather this week is looking pretty perfect, but I'd need next week to be perfect too and that might not happen anyway, but also probably rules out October. I really need these blisters to heal properly. Strange how I can hike 11 miles, 12 miles and 9 miles on consecutive days but one tiddley little 4 mile day (the dog wasn't with me all the time) and the next day I'm tired. Probably got something to do with Real Life being a bit knackering. (I can't pretend I'm anywhere near fit but my leg muscles are fit enough. It's the rest of me that isn't.)Drowning in gibble. I'm finding it easier to CS and bin stuff at the moment so I'm taking advantage of that. We throw so little away normally that our neighbour lifts the one bin bag out of ours and puts it in his own when he takes them out. That's kind of a Challenge, isn't it?Better is good enough.7

Morries order done..
I MAY have done a small couple of orders for christmas presents.. I have saved all year so taking advantage of my savings and I did pay all the bills etc up to date before doing so. * shines halo *
I hear someone un/loading the DW so I am staying put until they are one despite being STARVING!!!!I need to swirl Feargal around on the landing.. but that may have to wait until after the school run when the upstairs bears are awake (or 2pm, whichever comes first)I feel like I should make an effort and paint the window frames.. maybe tomorrow..
I need to see what Pixie wants to do about viewing secondaries.. I think the first one is tonight... oh no.. it is tomorrow.. but still.. I should ask her.. I did take her last year and the forms are already in. I do feel bad, I have put her first choice as the one where Dot is so she can walk Dot home but I feel mean putting that responsibility on her without asking her first and just 'expecting' that is not something I do as a parent.. I can change the forms until 31st October if she would like.
ooh.. kitchen quiet.. away to forage.. and then to shuffle the back room which I put off yesterday.Argh.. I forgot again... Happy birthday Valli!!!! xxx I hop you have many many happy years ahead which are all much less dramatic than this past one!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)6 -

- Liver cooked for dogs meals over next few days
- Pasta bowls sourced (I only have one left and we eat a lot of pasta!). Just need to wait for payday thanks to Asda shop above!Have lovely afternoons all xx5 -

They never keep to that. They send a text or email when they pick it up to look at it, currently taking 11-13 weeks depending on area.. it is usually very quick to get the payment first, then the award notice. They are not in any rush!

Laundry shuffled inside, then outside. Have one eye on the clouds, the other is on the couple of crackers that I am calling lunch. Dinner in the sc finally. Fridge and freezer moved from utility room to their new kitchen home. Spiders, woodlice, webs, a couple of freezer packs, some rice and a couple of peas were all amongst the haul when we shifted them.Next job, swap contents of the dining room (will be back in the utility room eventually, but could be a while. Relies on DH, who, as you know, is not a fast worker. Understatement!) fridge to the kitchen fridge.
Thanks for the reminder, still need to get the shopping slot done.5 -
do you know.. I am so sick of unreliable tradespeople.. the plumber came on Sunday to fix the loo.. said he couldn't do it as it was 'too much of a big job' so he'd come today... I just got a call saying he came and no one was in!! Right, my house hasn't been empty other than 15 minutes in 2020!!!! They lying f***er... he ust wanted to either not do the job.. it is a clean water job, not an icky one!
Now I got a text saying he is on his way and will be here shortly, but he rang, claimed to have been and be up the other end of the city and then said some garbage about he will come tomorrow.
I am going to put in a complaint.. I pay for this service and I am NOT paying any excess on the policy when they can't even do the job r turn up when they are supposed to.. sod that!!!
One mad email coming right up!!
