Good morning all xx
I've been searching for my motivation all week. We thought we found it in the stationery cupboard but that one wasn't mine. That one was too dusty- mine hasn't been missing for that long! One colleague helps me search, the other looks at me as though I'm from another planet (my secret is out 👽) There were tears and tantrums at work- fortunately they weren't mine this week. Bringing in more changes so my bull💩 alarm was continuously going off. Just a normal week then 🙄
I'm up, made my bed, supped two brews, eaten breakfast, read a couple of chapters of my book, and checked the weather forecast. Not much to show for being up 2.5 hours. But yawning is taking up valuable time. I'm not jesting - I'm yawn, yawn, yawn. It's not natural!
Anyhoo. I'm going to get dressed, feed the birds, and put out the rubbish and recycling. That might wake me up!
Have a good day

I've had a chat on the phone with Pops - who's recovering / nearly recovered from his fall out of bed just over a week ago. Then I went up and got dressed. Sploshed bleach down the loo.
And, inspired by piggers, I tested the central heating. I was somewhat trepidatious as I've been resetting the boiler all summer. It cuts out after running hot water to wash the pots, but not when I have a shower. So with 🤞 I turned on the heating....and waited. And breathe (ish). Fires up - OK, all radiators are hot - OK, makes a weird noise when turned off - hmmmm. I can live with that. And, in the summer, I bought a halogen heater, so that when the boiler packs up on the coldest day in winter I'm not going to freeze. Be prepared...once a a Brownie always a Brownie 😊
Coffee next- join me?

Rubbish and recycling have been put out. New bin bags in bins. Brought down laundry hamper and WM is swishing. Birds have been fed. Light lunch as I'm meeting DS and DF for tea at the village pub.
Pops and Babs are on a coach trip to Bakewell tomorrow. I've requested a Bakewell pudding.
Now watching a Sherlock Holmes film in black and white.

Far longer spent outside than planned today due to the pigs thinking the Electric fencing was a chew toy / play thing. Finally sorted but my word it was hard going. Especially when they want cuddles and tummy tickles whilst you’re in there with them and they chew your wellies! No flying done. Fire lit, chicken in slow cooker, wine in hand, Rylan on the radio. Heaven xx7

Morning all
I know I haven't been around much this week but the paid stuff has been stupidly busy and we were at a family birthday yesterday. I have just caught up on the news. I have to limit my caffeine because of medication and I somehow had 3 coffees yesterday afternoon, I had no idea how awful it would make me feel and of course I didn't sleep well so it's a slow start today. Bit worried about DH and health stuff.
I need to fly today and work out my finances, it's cold grey and windy out. Peppermint tea anyone?8
