Me again. Kitchen sink scrubbed and I've had a lovely long daytime bath, face mask and everything.
Relaxing now while DH makes a roast dinner. See you on the next thread.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
@flamingo thank you for that tip.Not much flying had been done here this weekend.
I did the big food shop on Sat morning. Not something I will doing often as it was busier than I expected even tho I was quite early. Aldi and Lidl had less till staff on 🙄
Dd and I went for a Costa ( which reminds me I need to email them as I didn’t get my beans 😡😡) and then shopping. Dd needed some new foundation and I needed some ‘ leather’ upholstery fabric for our kitchen chairs. Got it from The Range. £24 for 3 metres and should do 6 chairs. I returned an item to M&S and we perused the sales, I was pleased to walk away with my purse intact.
Sunday morning, I took my car to the mechanic. Hopefully the bonnet catch and pass doors is fixed so the alarm will not keep going off.
Spent the afternoon pottering and making a roast pork dinner …..lush and yummy.

I remember your b-day Valli.. it is the date DS1 was due.. he was born 29th.. he is 32 this year!!! .. obviously I had him when I was 3!!
My chest is really wheezy.. we have managed to move the chests of drawers and I rechecked the CH but the bedroom valve is jammed shut.. it isn't a hugely problematic fix I am sure. I do need a spot of dewedding in there.. and in Moomins room.. she has about 4 big spiddlers trotting about in there.

just woke as needed the loo…had stomach cramps etc all evening…so have taken loperamide…whoever came up with that medication deserves a knighthood.
I clearly wore myself out this weekend. DS helped get the Kallax upstairs, D D mostly built it. so now I have accessible stuff.
Most of the stuff i was selling for work has sold so packing it up will be a priority in the morning.
