Morning jobs all done, floors hoovered and mopped throughout. It's Mr Flamingo's birthday today, and as he is training for his first half-marathon next month (aged 43!), he did his first 12 mile run this morning, so that's good. Now the plan is to get some lunch, my parents will pop by later for his bday. Not going to do much more decluttering or house work today, but tbh it's staying pretty reasonable now thar I have more routines in place each dayMarried 40y.o. mum of an autistic 11y.o. Carer/SAHM.

With my V!nted earnings I have ordered socks for DD1 for CP (christmas present.. )
I may need to drug the headache.
Dead bod scooped and binned.. filled a delivery bag with rubbish and flung that out.
Washing to hang out next.. after the loo trip.. DW/WM .. and maybe a spot of reshuffling in the backroom.. I have still only done around half of it.. but yesterday pushed me to my absolute limit.
Twinkles prescription collected.. they sent the wrong bread.. ggrrr... I need to sort Boogs prescriptions too. I will do that now while it is in my head.. done that...
New ISP signed up for.. it is a 12 month contract at half the price I am currently paying.. let's see how that goes.

Hope you feel better soon Valli.
I popped to shop. Of course I was behind the person with over £100 worth of fiddly parcels to post. I have brought the recycling bin back round and about half filled it again.
Now just sitting down. I really can't be bothered to do anything else before the next paid stuff.Spend less now, work less later.9 -

Very up and down this week, ranging between feeling totally unmotivated and down, to getting lots done. Oh well.
Bonus of the day is an email from the parking people - they have cancelled the fine incurred when I was dropping Mr N at A&E, so that was worth the appeal and thanks for your encouragement to do so.
Still money-wrestling with my pension stuff but I think I'm making progress.
House-wise it isn't bad, most rooms have had some sort of flying done this week.
Today was a fairly busy one - went to Pilates, went to drumming lesson, went to Mr T, collected night guard from the dentist (it didn't fit), had Covid jab, packed for long weekend away. I also did a mass cook - a giant chilli (some we had this evening, some to take for our first night away with DBIL tomorrow and some in freezer), a fruit crumble (probably will do the 3 of us 2 puddings) and a fruit cake (enough for the 4 days we're away and some in the freezer).
We've had torrential rain and howling gales intermittently this week, with also some sun. Saturday is forecast to be the best and I hope that's right as we have tickets for the Malvern Festival (I will not buy too many plants).Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.9 -
Dailies done aside from bed-making (I'm normally up and downstairs before DS and Mr Flamingo, so I don't do the beds before coming down). Washing up late last night meant only one cup and a couple of recycling items to rinse this morning, I don't have enough in the WM for a full load so that will have to wait til tomorrow am. Weather looks good so will do an early wash and peg out before we spend the day doing a 5 hour round trip drive to passport office, and to see DSIL and DNs. Not much else planned for housework, things are running quite smoothly and all vacuuming was done yesterdayMarried 40y.o. mum of an autistic 11y.o. Carer/SAHM.

morning all, unusually a Friday off for me, though i will do the wages…a ten minute job and self interest there. I want to go and see mum today. She wished she was retired yesterday. She’s been retired 30 years…. apparently she was very muddled and she gets upset easily and is so unhappy. It’s so sad 😞
DW x 1 and WM x 1 - towels. Looks like it might dry on the line.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

A little late to flying today…..
Early morning keep fit class today and then to do the big weekly food shop….
in my haste to leave (20mph here in wales ) so need to leave earlier, I forgot my shopping list 🙄
came back home with the intention of getting changed, pick up said list and drive back to shops - not very MSE but
coffee o’clock prevailed and looking at my back tyre ( looking flat on the bottom) I thought I’d abandon the shop and go early tomorrow as dd has a netball match early, so I’ll get up and go then.
I’m just doing a quick S&S and then laundry shuffle and that will be that for today……
I have books to be read and it will have to be ‘on toast’ tea as I can’t be bothered to think of anything else 😂😁Grocery spends £193.44/ £70 per week or £303 per month9
