lunch had, early because I'm going swimming
bitty, Toots jobs done - I'm attempting to get a (small) gift card balance reinstated...so i've sent evidence of medical disgnosis.
Finally got hold of joiner as I want new doors upstairs. And, possibly a wall removing and replacing (the understais/cupboard wall)
Brought washing in because the rain came, but it's had a blow and I might get away with ironing and airing it.
i'm suffering from a combination of CBA/loads of time so no rush to get anything done syndrome (if it's a thing) so things don't get dealt with and ticked off when I could, so easily, do these little jobs.
I'm off to see Deacon Blue tonightDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Back room half reshuffled.. I want to move everything round the room by 90' .. I have done the cat tree/airers and vacuumed.. heavy stuff is next and I need a rest fter vacuuming.. I am having the sewing machine sent for a service as I have not used it in MANY years.. (about 10) so I want to know it is fully functional before embarking on memory bears/blankets from MIL's gear..
I have found another load of laundry and 2 boxes to go to the girls room.
I have moved a chair out to go to my mothers, she wants 2 and I have a large table to go as well. and I will nag OH for the car keys in a bit so I can load stuff in there to go to my mothers and the uniform charity drop off in the morning.. the place usually only is open on tuesday afternoon but therer is a coffee morning on a Tuesday so I will see if they will let me drop off there. I have 2 binbags and 5 boxes and a large bag of school/shoes/swimmies/winter coats.. it just needs to be gone!I also have 2 binbags for CS.I need to go collect prescriptions too.. 5 of them.. I might take my shopping trolley and drop a binbag at CS on the way.. or I might not.. lol.
A few dampish bits off the airers are in the dryer to air off.. which sounds weird just saying it..
I wnt to put a wardrobe against the chimney breast in the back room.. for now.. for the big 2's school clothes and anything else I can stash in it.. Squeaks cello.. I need to replace the cover for it first.. it has been attacked by a naughty spiky cat and is a mess.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)8 -

Evening all.
Thank you for the lists again. And again, I’d like to say that I’ll be back in where I need to be, but it’s a hectic week. Full day today at paid stuff where the powers that be couldn't organise and sensitively communicate the proverbial if they tried. Dinner cooked on the one ring cooker as kitchen still isn’t usable - nearly there, fingers crossed. No work tomorrow but I have hair cut booked and then hospital appointment. At the end of the week we are off to the big city for my niece’s wedding, which is an expedition. Which all sounds like a mahoosive excuse in the event of minimal flying. Just in case I need it.
So today towels run through the wm, DD’s bed remade with freshly ironed bedding, cleaned her lampshade while I was in there - suddenly the room was lighter. Made dinner with stacks of hg veg, so feeling virtuous for that.
Jazee - I have also read that book. I think it might have lost me a Sunday morning when I couldn’t put it down.
ASB, I hope the new job went well x8
