Happy birthday for yesterday 🎉 I've had BIAB gel colour on my nails a few times.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪2 -
Belated happy birthday @I_Love_comps - hope you had a lovely day!
My younger daughter is getting married at Christmas, and after scouring shops in person and on t'internet I found a lovely dress and bolero combination in bronze lace scattered with tiny sparkly bits which will go beautifully with her colour scheme. It was a bit pricey, so I just had a half-hearted look on Vinted not expecting to find anything similar but blow me down, there for sale was the exact dress in my size, worn only once by another proud mother of the bride, for less than one tenth of the original price. I couldn't believe my luck - it's hanging in my wardrobe now and I have also managed to snap up Vinted finds of a matching fascinator, bag and shoes. Very proud of myself :)

Happy belated birthday!!!! Hope you had a jolly time even if it was mid week! Always difficult if a special day is on a "school night"!
As for growing old dis/gracefully…..I had a hospital appointment last week and a somewhat older (80s?) woman came into the waiting area and I did a double take - wearing lots of purple and a red hat and red leggings with purple flashes in them. I immediately thought "When I grow old I will wear purple and a red hat that doesn't go!"
Except it looked really lovely on her. Noticed when she was leaving that she glanced at her hand - and was surprised to see she was wearing a chunky red watch ring!

daz378, It sounds like a traumatic time you’ve been through. Please be kind to yourself, things will get better, but if you haven’t had counseling maybe consider it.
