Really pleased I joined WW. I have lost 15lbs so far. Feel so happy to fit into my clothes. Also I do not get breathless when walking.
I use Iceland every week to get my 10% off.
I have treated myself to a ticket to the Good Food Show in November. I subscribed to the magazine, and so I got a ticket reduction and get free entry into the subscribers lounge.
We have started going to the cinema . Saw Beetlejuice Beetlejuice the other week .
Next week we are going to see Joker. I got a discount for these tickets as I work at a school . It is called Discount for Teachers. I am not a teacher, but anyone who works at a school can join.
Hope everyone is keeping well. I am not looking forward to Autumn/Winter, I much prefer the warmer weather.).
Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

There used to be lots of freebies at these shows years ago, but not anymore. As I subscribe to the good food magazine I can access the subscribers lounge . Apparently I will get a goody bag there.
Beetlejuice and the Joker were good, a bit weird, but then they really are not my kind of film , They were both OH's suggestions.

Today I reached my goal weight .illness and 6 weeks in hospital and a couple of operations last year. Completely lost my appetite and don't eat a fraction of what I used to I eat less and try to walk more .
Smaller plate, and more fruit or veg. I cut fried food out altogether, and treat a small piece of cheese as a treat.
Drink loads of water and cut down on the amount of 'goodies' which really are 'baddies '
it's so worth it in the end My only problem at the moment is everything I own is far too big so I am going to have to buy new clothes and I hate clothes shopping.
But take a big pat on the backthats over a stone you won't be lugging around anymore

Well today was my visit to the good food show. As predicted - no freebies.
I did get a goody bag for being a subscriber to the magazine.
This contained some cherry compote by mamam., a packet of spice, and some spread like Nutella. Also some free magazines. One which was for vegetarian cooking.
Hopefully I will have a go at some of the recipes in this magazine.I am a Senior Ambassador on the Competitions Time Board and the Old Style MoneySaving Board.

Well done on reaching goal 👏 Sorry a bit late with the congratulations!I also subscribe to GF magazine and the app. I enjoy both as I love trying new recipes. I’ve been to the GF once and there were loads of freebies back then. It’s like a lot of things everything has been cut back. I used to love the B00ts Christmas shopping evenings for card holders only. Free food, wine and samples. Now nothing ☹️I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

I got thrifty by not buying mags a few years back. I would look through them and pull out recipes I wanted to try but then I'd find these 3 years later still waiting to be trialed. So no more mags for me.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. If you need any help on these boards, do let me know.
