Been a while since I have posted on here:

Really pleased I joined WW. I have lost 15lbs so far.  Feel so happy to fit into my clothes. Also I do not get breathless when walking.

I use Iceland every week to get my 10% off.

I have treated myself to a ticket to the Good Food Show in November. I subscribed to the magazine, and so I got a ticket reduction and get free entry into the subscribers lounge.

We have started going to the cinema .  Saw Beetlejuice Beetlejuice the other week .
Next week we are going to see Joker.  I got a discount for these tickets as I work at a school . It is called Discount for Teachers.   I am not a teacher, but anyone who works at a school can join.

Hope everyone is keeping well.  I am not looking forward to Autumn/Winter, I much prefer the warmer weather.
Take Tupperware (lots of edible freebies on offer and you will want to pace yourself :D).
Really? Friends have been to other shows - like Ideal Home  etc and the days of coming home laden with freebies are very long gone! Now it's something like a biro- if you are lucky
Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

  • Well today was my visit to the good food show. As predicted - no freebies.
I did get a goody bag for being a subscriber to the magazine.
This contained some cherry compote by mamam., a packet of spice, and some spread like Nutella. Also some free magazines. One which was for vegetarian cooking.
Hopefully I will have a go at some of the recipes in this magazine.

Well done on reaching goal 👏 Sorry a bit late with the congratulations!

I also subscribe to GF magazine and the app. I enjoy both as I love trying new recipes. I’ve been to the GF once and there were loads of freebies back then.

It’s like a lot of things everything has been cut back. I used to love the B00ts Christmas shopping evenings for card holders only. Free food, wine and samples. Now nothing ☹️
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

Used to have an invite to a free evening at M&S.  Wow - what a bun fight!!  Mostly older individuals all pushing to get to the mince pies or other treats that were available.  I stopped going to them but haven't now had an invite for a few years so doubt they are still going.

I got thrifty by not buying mags a few years back.  I would look through them and pull out recipes I wanted to try but then I'd find these 3 years later still waiting to be trialed.  So no more mags for me.
