I turned 60 on Sunday 😊 I had lunch with former colleagues on Thursday, lunch with some of my family on Sunday, have a meal out with colleagues in early May, another meal out with my sons in June, a trip to RHS Tatton in July, a day trip to Dublin with my girlfriends in August....
Still working (but 36 more paydays 😉😁) and stashing into both my personal and work pension pots.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Belated happy birthday Floss
I turn 60 at the beginning of May and have agreed to work until the end of May but will take the bank holiday week as holiday - 35 working days including one Saturday. Not that I'm counting!

Happy birthday Floss, and to all those turning 60 this year. I had my 60th in February - 1964 was obviously a good year! I'm looking at retiring in September if everything goes to plan.4

I turned 60 yesterday 🍾 13 working days until I retire 🥳 although my brain is still processing that! I used up my last holiday day today and for a change the sun was shining and it was really warm. I could get used this a couple of hours pottering in the garden, a leisurely lunch outside followed by a gossip with my neighbour over the fence about the greenhouse and a trip to the garden centre 😎Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin11

Thanks Brie - unfortunately I've worked from home the last 4 years so can't offset the mileage against the GC visit. Spending it now whilst I have one last wage 😁Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin4

Happy Birthday Brambling, and Floss and all the others joining the 60 club. I have to agree that 1964 must have been a very good year. I'm slightly envious of those retiring - pottering and leisurely lunches sound wonderful. Enjoy"Think of many things, do one"
