Great news, pigpen! Hope it all helps Squeak xx
And the puppies look very sweet.
How have you got on today, round? Been thinking of you xx
House was clean until I put my boots on to go and help the gardener!
DH languished in his bed until just before I took Rosie out for her walk. He hasn't eaten anything all day but needn't think that he is therefore getting double portions this evening (though I might allow him some bland pasta). I've pointed out to him that we're likely to get rain for most of the rest of the week (though it's been bone dry and sunny all day today) so how am I going to wash his sweaty bedding and get it dry outside???

Pigpen I remember the worry of getting our first EHCP and we were lucky ut was smooth! I hope it all goes well, DS has had one since y2, he's just gone into y7 in a special autism unit within a mainstream school, access to all lessons but able to have modifications to time table where he can't cope with so much and can be just in the unit with the specialist support
Finished my bathroom today, it feels great to know its had a really thorough cleanlots more to do for the week, but we have to do a six hour round trip Devon to Wales tomorrow for the passport office

Morning all xx
You can guess: I'm up, dressed, made my bed, packed my lunch, eaten my breakfast and I'm supping a brew. I'll feed the birds before I go to work and bring in the bin that's already been emptied. Groundhogs rule 😊
Yesterday was OK. Thank you for thinking about me ❤ One challenging event in the afternoon which involved two sets of security guys, and then the police... I wasn't directly involved and I think everyone in the building was upskittled, not just me. Thankfully that is very, very rare on our site.
And so we'll see what today brings.....
Love and happiness to you all

pigpen said:Oh goodness Natty.. it feels like 5 minutes.. I have a couple of lovely cards she sent me which I keep next to my mirror and think of her very often.. I do miss her so much. And the beautiful LL, CY, MLB and Diva.. all left us far far too soon!
I’ve had a spendy time in London. The show was amazingly good. DD wanted to shop so we have walked up and down Oxford Street…so 2 hours on the train home meant my legs stiffened up and my right ankle is still aching. But it was good I did like the Elizabeth line in the tube! I have bought an expensive jar of jam from Selfridges in the interest of recipe research..blackberry and bay. Bought DS some Baklava from there too. Spent more than i should have, really but…memories. Oh and we chanced upon the house where the pre Raphaelite brotherhood was formed - I have walked the same road as Millais and Dante Rossetti *thrilled*.
WM x 2 but might have to wait until tomorrow to peg it out.
Now planning birthday trips…Royal Crown Derby here I come (with my sister…she wanted to know what i wanted for my birthday and i thought we could do something together rather than acquire stuff) and Liverpool with my friend who’s birthday is ten days before mine, though she’s two years younger. Plus now I’m properly part time and can do things on school nights why not?
Took a call from hospital yesterday and my med reviews and blood tests are now moving to 3 month intervals, so im pleased about that. It’ll be almost Christmas next time. Pharmacy will deliver on Saturday (some come direct from the hospital, as it’s a new drug treatment. i’ve had a two day break from them anyway, to prevent side effects.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Have done almost none today, huge round trip from Devon to Newport for passport office only to discover we have to do it all again in a week! So not been home for housework. However, it was lovely coming in the door and the house still being all tidy from yesterday's work
Tomorrow I have to set my freezer defrosting as not done in a year, and then I am going to the Chazzers with my mum, which is our special treat. My aim is to do as much as I can before I go out
Hope everyone had a good day

Just popping in to say well done to Round for coping, and hi to flamingo.
Am shattered. We have been out the last couple of evenings to eat as apparently the novelty (such as it ever was) of cooking with one pan and a portable ring has worn off for DH….who hasn’t actually cooked at all over the past few weeks, 2 bbqs excepted. I have been the self nominated driver, so the moral high ground has been well and truly climbed. Work has been busy but bitty, which is frustrating, and roadworks have yet again been added into the mix, just to make my day!
Flying has been limited to the occasional run of the wm. Normal service needs to resume.7 -

Despite the forecast being for rain on and off all day I have managed to get the washing dry enough to iron, so it's ironed and on the maiden.
I have also made excellent progress with admin, one charity donation sorted and bank statement data now being input into my spreadsheet.
Forecast is good for tomorrow so I'm planningon washing towels first, followed by bedding, tomorrow.
Welcome Flamingo
I have WUALTD, got a plastic bottle destined fo recycling soaking. WM is locked and loaded, one of the baskets (I have two ‘pegging out’ baskets, identical so they stack) upstairs with the next load in, ready to go. DW locked and loaded. Tea was bolognese, so meat *flung* from shed freezer.
I have another charity donation to sort. I also have stuff to take to CS.

Ggrrr... Dot's 1-2-1 is off today (planned in advance) but school hadn't bothered sorting someone to take her into class so she refused to go in.. they had a yr 11 member of staff who said 'come with me' she said no and refused to move.. !!!!!!... I have a gruble going in that I am the parent and I need to know what is going on, she is my child not theirs and I will be involved in her school life and will not back down.. try as they might I have had such awful experiences at the school I will not be letting them bully her like they did a couple of the others.
Nice and sunny here today.. I have washing to go out and a nail apointment over lunch.. I need many drugs so I will snaffle those first.. 2 lots had.. 2 to go.. my asthma/hayfever have been so bad the last few weeks
I have 2 pompoms to make for Harpers hats and some buttons to find for Beanies cardy.. I need to know this size fits before I do him more.
I am trying to knit enough I can empty a box .. I might crack out the aran and do some for Miss Squizz. though I've no done Spam a jumper for ages.. he loves knitted jumpers.. lol.. loads to do obviously.
I need to wrap Dots presents for her birthday tomorrow.. Then look at birthday stuff for DS1 for 29th, Moomin and Tiddles for November and Meem for December.. I always forget hers and end up grabbing something out of her christmas stash.
