Morning all,
Natty thank you for that. 10 years - where does time go. So many people gone but never forgotten xx
Piggers - wishing you lots of luck for today xx
Fayolle - I don't envy you. I really really can't cope with builders and tradespeople generally in the house. Partly why so many parts of this house need attention and don't get it!xx
I am leaving for work at 7.30 today after DD has left for school. So far:
- animals fed
- 1 xWM on the line (brrrr, its 4 degrees here but promises to be a lovely day!) and one in the TD
- couple of work emails sent
- list written for today - food shopping and work admin
- Eggs boxed up for delivery
- Online banking checked
Listening to the radio, having the annual push on how the NHS "can't cope" this winter - I totally agree the system is in dire straits, but they trot this line out each year in the same way we have "summer holiday travel chaos" - let's change it up a bit please!!
Right best get a shuffle on, have fab days all xx

Morning all xx
Just popping my head round the door to let you know that yesterday went OK, and I'm going back for more today. One day at a time.
I'm up, dressed, made my bed, packed my lunch, eaten breakfast and supped a brew. I'll feed the birds and put out the recycling on my way out. Same as yesterday then 🤔 My morning routine enables me to push through the black dog treacle effect that I woke up with.
Wishing you all a good day

It rained yesterday.. I got very damp.. so today my hips are killing me.. and my knee.. and my big toe.. and I pinged a nail off so I have a naked thumb.
DD1 has requested some more cardies for Beanie before he outgrows the 0-3's .. he isn't big considering he was 10lb at birth.
OH making a cuppa.. I am going to find some drugs for these bones.
I have ordered 5 prescriptions. The pain definitely helps me remember. I need to find one of my inhalers too my chest has been so bad this week.
good luck Round.. feel free to growl at people!
Mediation at 1.. I am sufficiently angry already.. I may need to chill a bit by then.

Morning (still) everyone. Hope you're all doing OK today, especially round x
I worked hard all day yesterday to complete the written paper to put forward to church council, and this morning K and I have worked hard to clean almost all through the house - we just couldn't get to DH's bedroom and shower (both of which really need doing) as he has shut himself in his room with a bit of a tummy upset. He claims not to have eaten anything that I haven't given him apart from cake at model railway club yesterday evening - however, I am fine. Hmmmm.....
J the gardener is coming at 1.00, so I will get my own lunch early and DH can starve until teatime. Rosie needs a walk, and there are phonecalls to be made and papers to sort.
No needles were stuck in me yesterday but I shall probably have that delight on Friday. I needed a short resistance band for my arm strengthening exercises and have made my own by folding and knotting some normal knicker elastic that was lurking in my sewing drawer. It does the job, so why pay good money for a fancy green one?
We have sunshine today but the forecast says rain tomorrow. Guess who hasn't given me his washing this week!
Have a good afternoon, and I'll catch up with you later xxx

Iona.. I have one I can fling in your direction.. I got it as a sensory thing for Dot but she just ate it so the others (pack of 5 I think) haven't been touched.
