Thanks all - I’m so pleased with the frame and how it looks!L - I keep hearing good things about Slow Horses so plan to give that a go!The canvas for the front room has arrived and I’m incredibly pleased with it - that will be hung tomorrow along with the other framed pics. I still can’t quite get my head round seeing photos of mine blown up so big though!Teeny bit of spending today - we had to go to the hardware plan for more picture hooks (we’re using the hard wall ones with the three pins you bang in as standard picture hooks seem to blow the plaster) and we popped in to the charity shop across the way. As luck would have it they were doing 3 for £1 on their paperbacks and Had a good selection so £3 spent - including 2 for MrEH and one for my Mum which will get wrapped for Christmas).Freezer 2 is empty, defrosted and currently turned off - will be switched back on to re-freeze overnight I think, or possibly tomorrow night as that also looks like it should be well priced on the electric front.
I’ve started putting together a list of what I need to prep and when for Christmas - and I should be able to assemble the pigs in blankets as a starting point tomorrow then they can go to the freezer. Looks like the cheap veg should be in the supermarkets from the middle of next week so I will start planning what of that I want to buy.
Meal plan is mostly in place through to Christmas Eve, and I intend to make soup (stock saltiness depending) and a potato bake tomorrow I think.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
