Last October I applied for their 2.75% eSaver but gave up when they wanted me to send ID through the post. Oddly, I just applied for this one and they've opened it automatically and linked it to my existing customer ID (which I've not used for over 10 years!)0

Trying to open this account and can't beyond the first page. Has the account already been pulled. It's still on the web site.

However wanted it to be joint account but was not given the option when applying.
Any body else in this situation.
Tried ringing them waited 15 minutes and when got to the important bit the call cleared down.
I think my problem was I applied whilst logged in to my on line account.
It did not give me an option to add another name.
I can see that if applying normally there is an option.

Hi I applied late last night and my application didn't seem to go through so applied again.
2 Easy access Limited Edition accounts have just shown up in my online banking.
I have used the chatbot to arrange to get one closed.
However I can't transfer any money into either of the new accounts - it's coming up with an error message .
I guess it's still early morning but the emails received suggested that they are up and running - no id checks requested...
Any suggestions please?

I must have had a senior moment in my rush to open the account.
Yes there is a joint account button there.
Just closed the single account and will open a joint one.1 -
What error? TSB says it can't verify payee details for my account, but the money goes through OK. Lloyds payment to my other half's account also went through, and they did verify payee.0
