I have those details too. However, am leaving money in Tandem until I get online with Santander. Still going to keep some in Tandem though anyway, as like to have a few sources for easy access funds.luckybert said:
I have my sort code and account number and I was tempted to transfer some money into it, to start earning interest but would like that confirmation that the money is in here, and for this of course I need my online banking details.ToastLady said:Still waiting too Luckybert. I thought I'd try and register using account number, but it told me to wait for passwords in post.1

I transferred in 10k without passwords. No issues. It will be there, as I found it when security number and temp password came in the mail.luckybert said:

If you have a Santander branch near you, you could make a test deposit online and ask at the branch whether it's reached your account. That's what I did with their previous issueluckybert said:

Thinking back I reckon I got a tax statement fromSwipe said:

Do you not still get a year end interest statement?Swipe said:
I opened a new one and transferred the balance over. I will log back in on 11th when the monthly interest is paid and then move it over to the new one leaving it with just a pence in so I still have access to my statements and so that I still get the annual statement for my records.hallmark said:Has anybody closed an existing Easy Access Saver (the one that pays 4.05%) early in order to open one of these instead? How did they credit the accrued interest if so?
 Thanks
a closed account before but in any case I closed my previous EA account after opening the new one and Santander sent s closing statement.0

Don't forget that Santander support the Confirmation of Payee scheme.
Hence, the sending bank can confirm the account details are in your name, negating the need for a test deposit3

Once again I am grateful for the forums for pointing me in the direction of something I had missed. Having been absent from many areas of the boards for a few weeks due to organising a house move, I popped back into this board yesterday in part to check out options for a soon to be maturing 1 year fix, and spotted the current incarnation of the Santander LE eSaver. It was the work of a few minutes to open the new one, transfer the small balance in the old one over, and arrange for the old one to be closed. A few minutes more and my larger personal savings pot was transferred across to the new eSaver. Nick of time too as I see it is now being pulled at close of day today - so thank you MSE forums once again!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Just a reminder that transfers from this a/c to a Santander 123 a/c do not count toward the minimum £500 funding to qualify for the 123 cashback.I transfer any new income I get to the Santander Easy Access a/c without it touching the 123 a/c. The £500 I put into the 123 a/c to cover monthly DDs is the only funding the 123 a/c gets and it comes out of a savings a/c. Now that the main savings a/c is with Santander, I need to withdraw the £500 to another bank first then transfer it back to the 123 a/c.0
