Thanks

Don't forget that Santander support the Confirmation of Payee scheme.
Hence, the sending bank can confirm the account details are in your name, negating the need for a test deposit3 -

Once again I am grateful for the forums for pointing me in the direction of something I had missed. Having been absent from many areas of the boards for a few weeks due to organising a house move, I popped back into this board yesterday in part to check out options for a soon to be maturing 1 year fix, and spotted the current incarnation of the Santander LE eSaver. It was the work of a few minutes to open the new one, transfer the small balance in the old one over, and arrange for the old one to be closed. A few minutes more and my larger personal savings pot was transferred across to the new eSaver. Nick of time too as I see it is now being pulled at close of day today - so thank you MSE forums once again!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Just a reminder that transfers from this a/c to a Santander 123 a/c do not count toward the minimum £500 funding to qualify for the 123 cashback.I transfer any new income I get to the Santander Easy Access a/c without it touching the 123 a/c. The £500 I put into the 123 a/c to cover monthly DDs is the only funding the 123 a/c gets and it comes out of a savings a/c. Now that the main savings a/c is with Santander, I need to withdraw the £500 to another bank first then transfer it back to the 123 a/c.0
