My kids best get a move on then. They all have Santander current accounts with decent balances not earning any interest. Sent them the details and instructions on how to open the saver in the app yesterday. You can lead a horse to water....3

Hi everyone,
Thanks a lot for posting this, me and my wife @26 years old decided to sort our finances out and have started putting away into a LISA for our first home and now opened this lovely little easy access, received our ID's almost instantly, now presumably just waiting for our passwords/security number to come through the post.
I presume this is going to be delayed in the post due to it's popularity? Cheers1 -
When it says one per customer does that mean you can only either have a joint one, or a single one, but not both? Or can you have a joint saver and a separate one in your own name only?0

Conversely I messaged my granddaughter last week and she messaged back 30 minutes later with "done".MX5huggy said:

You can have this account if you’re 16 or over and live in the UK. You can only have one of these accounts. It can be in your sole name or jointly with one other person.

Everyone agrees it is being pulled at midnight tonight except Santander who still say on their website “This issue is available until 17 September 2023 unless sold out sooner.” They could have updated that hours ago but didn’t bother to do so.0

That wording enables Santander to pull it anytime between now and the 17th September, without needing to publish a cut off dateSaveTheEuro said:Everyone agrees it is being pulled at midnight tonight except Santander who still say on their website “This issue is available until 17 September 2023 unless sold out sooner.” They could have updated that hours ago but didn’t bother to do so.1 -

When I did it (existing customer) they said I had to send them a cheque!
