So would prefer to push the interest into the next tax year.. and if I need to take some/most of the money out in 9 months, I’m ok to wait for the interest until 12 months.1

"Product name: EASY ACCESS SAVER LIMITED EDITION (ISSUE 3) (M)"
The (M) shows monthly interest, annual would end with (A)

However wanted it to be joint account but was not given the option when applying.
Any body else in this situation.
Tried ringing them waited 15 minutes and when got to the important bit the call cleared down.
I think my problem was I applied whilst logged in to my on line account.
It did not give me an option to add another name.
I can see that if applying normally there is an option.1 -
Can you change interest from annual to monthly?
I chose annual but now kind of regret it!
Still available as of last night btw, I filled in the form and am an existing Santander customer - it was listed under my accounts and ready to use in under 5 mins.0 -

- Interest is calculated daily and added to this account annually or monthly. Once the frequency has been chosen (annual or monthly interest), this can’t be changed.

Ah, never mind I can wait and treat myself when the lump sum comes - thanks1
