Knowing that DCB Legal have lost, what are the chances of them paying me the £108 if I were to email them asking for this rather than having the hassle of a SAR imposed upon them?

Zero - there is nothing to say they have to or consider it.

Much the same reason as why people don’t pay PPCs

    Hello All,

Sadly I return for more advice.

My previous Highview Parking Limited claim vs Me was struck out by the Judge before telephone hearing at County Court St Helen's in 2024. I went through the whole N244 process for this. In March 2026 I discovered a letter from DCBL at my parent's address (an old address of mine) with the same claim number as the claim struck out in 2024. It's a 'Notice of Debt Recovery - Unpaid CCJ £333.64' letter. It appears that DCBL/Highview Parking have once again enacted a CCJ against me. How do I proceed? I am still living abroad. I don't want to spend another N244 fee on this nonsense. The alleged original offence dates back to Summer of 2023.

Your advice is greatly appreciated, again.

    Neil

Please show us the Order from the judge in 2024. The exact words from the judge.

    Good Afternoon,

Further to the e-mail below and the e-mail from the Claimants solicitors, the Judge has considered the file and the Judgment is set aside and the Claim is Struck Out,

Therefore the telephone hearing today will not be required,

    Kind regards,

OK so send that to DCBL and ask them why they think this 'claim struck out' case has been resurrected and to send you copies of all paperwork since the 2024 Order.

No such thing as registered letter (hasn't been for years). However, email is always the preferred option; send a copy to yourself in the same email.

I'll do this but can/will DCBL withdraw the new CCJ then?
