Grateful today for feeling much better, for having OH’s company while we both wfh, for OH making a delicious dinner, for outlaws coming for dinner before heading to the football, for having time to myself this evening, for motivating myself to go to the gym class, for having a good shower and hair wash at the gym, and for feeling relaxed and fulfilled in my day.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸7

NSD#3 😃
@apple_muncher I don't mind pinning people into clothes, but it would be very beneficial if I could sew some mouths up too! Lots of our new pupils haven't learned to sit still & be quiet yet, & it's causing us great stress!!
As I pulled out if our driveway to go to work, I could see the end of a faint rainbow meeting the road up ahead to the village. It made me smile. Had a very brief chat with my friend, the art teacher before work started. Not a bad day, all in all.
DH was me outside when I got home. He was excited to show me a sleeping hedgehog in our front garden. We've not had one visit our patch for many years, so it was great to see! He put some catfood out next to it & it gobbled it all up. He's just told me that he'd given it some in the back garden earlier too! I hope it hangs around & keeps away from the busy road in front of us, so many have been pancaked 😓
Went & weeded half a vegetable bed, then after tea, I hand sewed a bit more of the sofa cushion. Had a bath & read another chapter of my book, really enjoying it! Would recommend Diana Gabbaldon. I've watched the series on our 🔥stick & liked it.
Grateful for rainbows, hedgehogs, time in the gardenUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Had a great sleep last night for about the third night in a row, makes such a massive difference!
Up early and went to the gym first thing before work. Had a cleaner come round this morning to give a quote for a fortnightly whizz round. I sent the quote to OH as he's the reason we're even going down this route so he shall be paying! He seems to find it acceptable so I'm grateful that this will soon be a load off my mind.
Busy admin day at work but got loads done, am feeling on top of most things work-wise. Just need to be a bit more organised.
Put some volunteering plans into place with an organisation I've worked with before, it should also help me further some of my goals outside of work.
Off to pilates this evening back at the gym, a nice way to round off the day.8 -

Good Evening 🌓
Quick check in for me today. Bit of a flat day today and had chat with GP. Medications increased in dose which hopefully will help. Decided I needed to do something positive and move instead of staying inside - so I went to the park near to where I live. It was a lovely walk - sun shining, squirrels hopping all over the place. I could feel Autumn in the air and it was just what I needed. Had a nice bath, made bed and put laundry away so feeling 'on top' of things again. Sometimes I just need to get some energy moving and things take care of themselves.
Almost half way through the month and feel I am on track. Other than a few essentials I need to shop for - I have quite a bit of food in. Found £50 cash in my wallet I had totally forgotten I had from last months budget! I hardly take my wallet anywhere as use 🍏-Pay a lot on my phone. Nice surprise anyway!!! I'm pleased with my NSD progress too!
Today I am grateful for:
1) Having somewhere on my doorstep so amazing 🌳
2) My Nespresso Machine!!! Chocolate Fudge Coffee and a few squares of 90% cocoa chocolate 😋
3) My friendly GP. Not met this one but he is super nice on the phone
Today = NSD number 6
Have a restful evening folks x

Some things got done. Lots more didn't. I should be more pleased because I tackled a huge frog early on, but I have to get the printer working to complete it. Also phoned the doctor's surgery to get an urgent repeat prescription but also to correct the mistakes that have caused this (1 pill on monthly repeat instead of bi-monthly, the other because my prescription has not been updated to new level so only got enough tablets for 6 weeks not 8 - also the receptionist cannot count and tried to blame the chemist for sending me less than the amount prescribed). Phoned the lettings agency who are supposedly responsible for next door but it's a dead end (number not recognised).
Grateful for the things I have done, a bit of escapism and creative playtime.6
