Good afternoon 🌞
f0xh0les - beetroot juice in the fridge!!! I think you need to buy a large padlock and ban all access henceforth haha. Agree with the get up very early and make lots of noise scenario. Bad bad children haha.
Hit the yoga class this morning... and then broke a cardinal Turtle Law for which I will no doubt have to do time on the naughty step... I purchased a Costa ☕ and a 🥓 roll. It was like a Siren Song calling me in and I was weak!!! <it was however very tasty!!!>
Seeing family today and just chilling before I head off.
Today I am grateful for:
1) My amazing awesome yoga teacher ✨
2) The other people in the class for all being a part of something special
3) My naughty treat
Today = NSD number 4 (still!)
Have a great Sunday. Roll on cooler weather from tomorrow!!! 🧊 x⭐ DEBT FREE : 18/02/2025 ⭐

Lost a nsd because of toilet roll, OH and YD will not entertain family cloths as a replacement, so it had to be bought.
Grateful for
1) the gentleman whose boarder is full of roses. The sight and smell always lifts my spirits.
2)OH cleaning YD rucksack of 12 week old manky, sticky milky ways.
3) time with my sister

Evening turtles 🐢
Have had my parents visiting since yesterday, it was so hot yesterday that we went out for dinner as couldn't bear the thought of cooking. I picked up the tab as it was my idea and my invite to visit.
Today I woke up early and went horse riding before the heat really kicked in. Came back home and parents were still in bedwe went out for lunch together but they paid. Just chilling for the rest of the day now, I have a chilli on the go in the slow cooker for later.

Hugs to all those who need one. A bit cooler on our island today, & we've got rain this afternoon.
A busy day yesterday, got up at 7, & I was ready to.start sewing by 9! Got 3/4 of a sofa cushion cover made. After dinner, me & DS3 we t to town. I pinned a woman into a very pretty dress, picked mum up, did the food shop, collected more sewing, then took DS3 for his ECG. Thankfully all ok & heart is in the adult place. Never knew it moved as you develop! No need to worry on his behalf now 😊 Put all the shopping away, then got ready for the concert.
Me & my friend only knew a couple of songs the support act sang, & 6 of the tribute band, but was good to go out for a change. Had a laugh as we left, as there was a pallet leaning against the carpark wall, so we hoisted it into my boot, after me falling into the car when the back seat knocked my knee from under me 🤣 who needs the Chuckle Brothers when I'm around?! 😂🤣😂
Had a lie in this morning, my ears were still ringing from the night before! Chatted with a neighbour over the fence, saddened to hear that the lady who gave us info about the local kidney patient group, etc has passed away. Still in shock.
Did some ironing, then took DS3 & his friend to see the same concert I saw last night, only this one was for under 18s. They loved it & were very animated on the way home (don't think his friend paused for breath & was driving me crackers!! Even turning the radio up didn't drown him out!! No thanks AGAIN for the lift either 🤬) I went to mum's while they were there, we watched a dvd & I did more on the second rug.
Did some sewing after tea, then had a long soak in the bath with my book, I'm now 100 pages in 😃
Grateful for an afternoon with mum, listening to the rain whilst soaking in the bath, good stories, free firewoodUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

@Swayingseaweed - Hi, I'm another who loves the smell of roses. One of my doctor's offices used to have a rose garden in front and would stop to smell each of the bushes on my way in. The staff told me they were always ready with my file when I came in because I was the only one to stop and smell the roses so they knew it was me. I still stop and smell the roses at some of the places when I am out walking around.9
