I have until the end of March to submit mine as well.
Can I simply copy what I wrote in the original document since nothing has changed?

Hi all. I have drafted up the following. Is this OK to send through?

IN THE [XXXXX]CLAIM NO: [XXXXX]
BETWEEN:
[XXXX]
Claimant
AND
[XXXX]
DefendantWITNESS STATEMENT OF [DEFENDANT'S NAME]
I, [XXXXX], of [XXXXXX], make this statement in response to the claim brought against me regarding an alleged parking event. The contents of this statement are true to the best of my knowledge and belief.
I am the named defendant in this matter and make this witness statement in defence of the claim brought against me.
The alleged parking event is said to have taken place in 2019. However, I have no recollection of entering the car park at the specified location on the alleged date.
I only started receiving correspondence regarding this matter in 2023. Upon receiving these letters, I considered them as spam and disregarded them, as I had no prior knowledge of any alleged contravention.
No photographic evidence has been provided by the claimant to substantiate their claim. Without such proof, I am unable to verify whether my vehicle was present at the location in question at the alleged time.
Furthermore, the claimant has not specified the exact times the alleged parking event is supposed to have started and finished. This lack of crucial details adds to the confusion regarding whether the alleged parking event occurred at all.
Given the significant passage of time and the absence of clear evidence, I respectfully submit that the claim is baseless and should be dismissed.
I believe that the facts stated in this witness statement are true. I understand that proceedings for contempt of Court may be brought against anyone who makes, or causes to be made, a false statement in a document verified by a statement of truth without an honest believe in its truth.

Your witness statement backs up and supports, with evidence, what you wrote in your defence. I scrolled back and found your defence; have we even seen the POC so we know what you are defending against? Do you have any evidence of where you were on the alleged dates, such as being at work, in another car park, in a shop etc? Your statement of truth is out of date! Look at some other witness statements, such as: -
@Harry77, @imulsion and @Defendant911

Hey! Where do I find the POC? I haven’t even seen it!
Back on the first page of this thread you even proposed writing this in your Defence...2. The facts in this defence come from the Defendant's own knowledge and honest belief. Conversely, the Claimant sets out a cut-and-paste incoherent and sparse statement of case. The POC is devoid of any detail and even lacks specific breach allegation(s), making it very difficult to respond.2 -
