Normal service will be resumed...
I started the day well with the last of the panetonne toasted for breakfast and a brisk walk around the field with Mr F and FDawg. Did the menu plan and grocery shop for the week (less cheese involved and a little under budget). But then I started feeling very tired. I managed to get the vacuuming done and lunch served (the last of the pate with cherry tomatoes on sour dough toast). But by 2pm I was feeling unwell and went to bed for a nap. I was woken 2 1/2 hours later by Mr F trying to quietly open drawers to retrieve his running gear.
We had Cod & Chorizo Stew for supper made with chorizo and salami slices leftover from Christmas. There's enough left for tomorrow's lunch too.
I'm feeling a little better but still tired so will be having an early night. I knew this indulgent living would catch up with me eventually. Hopefully, normal service will be resumed tomorrow.

Saving Babies 👶
I have spent the morning saving babies... well practising to 😆 When we heard that Grandbaby Fortunate was on the way an event popped up on my FB feed for a first aid for little ones course. How opportune I thought and signed up immediately. £25 for two hours. It was really useful and I got to practice CPR and choking procedures. It's very unlikely that I'll need to put any of this into practice but I know I'll have the confidence to do so now if the need ever arises. I bought some first aid kits for home and travel for us and for mum and dad so it has turned out to be quite an expensive day. Safety first though. There were a lot of young mums there with their babies. As we were leaving, one of them said to me "You're a very good granny coming to this." 😁😁😁
Other spending has been food and treats for FDawg (in the budget) and a stocking up of herbal teas as I found them at buy one, get one half price with a further 20% discount.
We had the remains of the Cod & Chorizo Stew for lunch with wholegrain rice. Not sure what supper will be as, although I've been feeling much brighter today, I'm started to flag now.
Thank you everyone for the well wishes - I felt all the better for reading them.
Stay warm. It was bitterly cold here today and I know some of you have snow ⛄

I haven't watched it but read quite a bit in recent days along with the nation. I feel they should be compensated for the life chances destroyed of not just the individuals but their wider families. It is utterly horrific.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I've cried buckets tonight - absolutely shameful the way the Post Office behaved. Mr F and I have signed the petition.
