I hope you can shift some of the surplus, what a pain and an extra job you don’t need 😞

When I worked in construction it as fairly routine for us to work interchangeably in both forms of measurement - some things are simply more straightforward in inches but also there are times when only mm give you the level of precision needed!
Appalling that the builders who presumably know how tight the budget is have overordered PiP - they really are a shower of the proverbial aren't they.

No news- usuals, invigilating, round to mums with her birthday bits before she went to choir. She was very pleased with her gifts 😊
BiL and SiL saying council are being loooong sorting their bins and their council tax banding so we should sort ours soon. Too busy and tired to think about it at the mo but we will have to decide on a moving date with plenty of advance notice to council. Not deciding until the kitchen is fitted in early June though, as I am now trained to expect c*ck-ups 😁

Have just gone mad and ordered myself a pair of trainers with cushioned soles, happily can make up the amount using up all the leftover birthday money and 'leftover' month's money, as long as I'm frugal for the rest of the month, which shouldn't be too hard as work hours don't leave much spending time!

You deserve something for yourself after all the stress and throwing every penny at the build.

Aw thank you @Sun_Addict though more a necessity than a treat as I ache so much after invigilating in the big hall!
I did however go crazy and buy myself a book which I am so looking forward to
