How lovely of the MSE friend 🥰 So where is the build if not north London? I assume this is the desirable bit? Sorry but I live somewhere where the allegedly best bit is south of the river.

It's tough luck for me that I grew up in and my mum lives in a now pricey part of North London but that we're working class with no property in the family!

blackcats is never wrong 🤣. But seriously that North of the River and South of the River loyalty is deeply ingrained in a Londoner's soul. Our roots are firmly planted. (I was going to say that it's just like our London football teams but luckily I didn't so that there's no possibility of gloating and in order to avoid despair 🥴)

Mr PIP got an email yesterday from council about the effing kerb situation (in which we have to pay nearly 10k to install a parking space we're not allowed to use)- we couldn't get anyone to project manage it as there aren't many professionals and the ones there are didn't want to take it on, so Mr PIP did it himself and the council feedback was 'usually this has to go through five different stages but you did such a quality job we're just accepting it now'. Very proud of him but worrying that they get such sh*t applications from professionals charging clients lots of money! Anyway, if anyone needs to hire the only competent project manager in the entire country to submit Section 184 of minor Highways Works, he is available for consultancy work 😁

Beautiful day here so pub with Mr PIP (with camra discount). There was a pet cat on a long lead who was carried in a rucksack with a little astronaut helmet at the front so it could see out and I have gone proper cat broody 😂
