The cheapest flats up here are on for around 30k so if it all gets too much there's an escape plan

Well done - but - I'm more interested in the cat tbh 😍
@welshmansdaughter that is my escape plan of last resort - move somewhere were flats are in the 30K range and give up!
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!3 -
I can highly recommend a full house in my valley for 60k if anyone fancies an escape 😂

Mr PIP has been at the build shifting stuff that was left in the lock-up we were hiring, not impressed with the builder a) telling us to buy way more than was needed and b) not letting us know in time for us to return anything. Going to contact all the retailers and ask if they'll buy any back from us at mates rates but not holding out much hope! Did not need this extra job but ah well. We'll see if we can flog any on FBM etc too. No bad vibes on a Sunday! 🍻

Builder measuring in centimetres & buying in inches, does not surprise me. Although when I had some work done I was quite surprised to find that they did indeed have to measure one way in cms & the other in inches - I mean still!
