I like the Scotland Street books for a gentle, whimsical read. [I don't do much that can be described as 'whimsical'🤣]

Jeez PIP, you have my upmost admiration for your building work. The last five weeks we have had our driveway, patio and front wall rebuilt. All went smoothly and without any hiccups. Even tho everything done was outside I still couldn’t relax, chill, got fed up with stepping over building materials, blocking the road when building materials were being delivered. Didn’t realise how stressful it is getting stuff done, have said no more building work for years. The time and all the major disasters you are having to put up with, I definitely feel for you and Mr PIP.
