Bermuda! Lovely. Time to forget about build admin and wussy setups for a while

Have a wonderful holidayIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
Emergency fund 350/1000
Buffer fund 100/100

I'm so pleased that you have got a mortgage that you can now start to repay but obviously the Bermuda holiday seems like a reasonable response to receiving some of the mortgage money 😇1

Just because it is designed to have the living area downstairs doesn't mean you have to live in it like that.1

@lucielle otherwise we have to find £13,500 to pay the Community Infrastructure Levy 😐
Ha thanks @doingitanyway and @Blackcats, don't know what this talk of 'holiday' is though, I'm purely legging it far away with my ill-gotten gains 🤣
(I'm not really if da authorities are reading)
I like your thinking @badmemory but unfortunately there isn't enough space to have it otherwise!

I have had to wildly guesstimate from the builders extremely unhelpful quote but I think our likely necessary overspend on materials is going to be around £2400
I should have £1793.69 left in the flat pot once the mortgage is all spent, and if my estimations are well out then we shall have to rethink after a brief panic!
So new aim:
Aim £2400
Got £1793.69
Admin
Tidying
Comping
Tried to choose paint
Steps dropping off a vinted sale and getting the free papers
Got bored of thinking about paint and just chose paint
Steps in the other direction dropping off a vinted sale and recyclings
PiP money, bulk to dental/emergency pot, few quid skimmed to build pot
Aim £2400
Got £1797
Spent most of the afternoon trying to get an explanation from HMRC as to why last years NI is showing as 'full year' when I haven't paid it yet.
Advisor said the bank must have taxed interest at source but because it was under my personal allowance HMRC have allocated it back to my NI.
I am baffled but he said the NI is definitely paid and that was what I wanted assurance on.
So looks like I'm somehow up £180 from my 24/25 NI pot and £290 in tax credit.
Except I can't claim the refund because the gov ID app is utterly useless, and I can't prove my identity another way because I'd have to tell them when I paid my NI, which I can't as I didn't bloody pay it, they apparently took the liberty of paying it out of my rebate.
Reallocated NI pot to complete mums birthday pot, start off next year's LISA pot, and make a little start on Mr PIP's birthday pot, and a bit to build pot
Aim £2400
Got £1810
Went pub.
