When ‘improvements’ are made to apps and suchlike, why oh why don’t they ask a sample of the actual people who are going to use them to test them first before rolling them out 😖

At least I have the edit button - on a PC though🍆 & there is something I don't usually bother with!

I'm on phone @jwil not enjoying the experience!
Oh my days @joedenise the double spacing is godawful. And trying to write your name didn't autofill like it used to but autocorrected in stages. Don't think many people will be seeing their @'s!
Let us hope they sort this direness out pronto @beanielou @Sun_Addict @badmemory
Oh I see before I post this that the above three names are in bold and the first two aren't. Wonder if it'll show up in anyone's notifications if you manually write their name rather than selecting from the short mse recommended list
This is truly atrocious

@joedenise if you wish to add bullet points or a list click on the button bottom left that should give you the option

re: being notified. As I said I am on a PC & I have been notified both from being in bold & not being in bold. So as the saying goes I'm alright Jack. Hopefully it is working for others too.

Yes, double line spacing is annoying!
We are currently hurumphing at the leisure centre where the entry gates and the "just use the not any Bett*r app" are not working in harmony. Had to laugh on Monday at a man who was stamping his feet in rage on the wrong side of the barrier. His wife got through and left him having his tizzy. Fortunately Jim the cat got in ok this morning and was lounging in the lobby.

Ha thanks for the heads up @badmemory
ThaThanks okay leaving that formatting there as the mse new forum did it rather than me or my phone- and it seems to be having an epileptic fit every few seconds saving the draft, which is really unpleasant to use and see
Didn't want a double space here, wanted to write the next line in the same section of relevant text. Next line was going to be 'And it rather negates the 'save draft' button which is still there despite the preview and edit buttons having disappeared'.
Didn't want my screen to jump and start a new paragraph here either. I was also going to add that it can't be very money saving or environmentally friendly for MSE to be paying for and storing double the amount of server space due to the forum double spacing everything.
I was trying some time ago to say thanks for pointing that out @ Baileys @Baileysbabe (I'll just leave the new forum formatting there) I can't speak for @joedenise (hmm, no quick link option if you're writing in pre existing text block too) but I write in list form, I don't want to 'create a list', I just want to be able to write or paste like that without it doubling the post's size!
I see that people quoting on here now results in not being able to see either full post. What a great handy feature on a forum 😐
