Thanks @doingitanyway, I'm currently ignoring the Microsoft issue as there's only so much a person can take! Will have to sort it this weekend to actually be able to earn money though 😭
Just means being able to access some mortgage money to pay blimmin bills @foxgloves.
Have emailed the lender asking they turn a blind eye to their own legal requirements, you don't ask ya don't get 😁1 -

Got as far as choosing tiles, started looking at effing grout, found out I'd been completely ignored all round about my preferences for something else, had a temper tantrum, have gone on build strike4

What a nightmare all this build stuff is 😞 You don’t realise just how much is involved.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Seriously @Sun_Addict, every time I/we think something else couldn't possibly crop up, it bloody does. Anyway, nothing else is involved for me as I am having a massive sulk and am thoroughly on build strike, so whatevs innit, I am a calm and tranquil swan gliding upon the waters of not giving a f*ck

Does anyone have any thoughts on Santander 5% fixed for a year vs Nationwide 6.5% variable for a year?1

Are these regular savers or standard savings accounts?PennysIntoPounds said:Does anyone have any thoughts on Santander 5% fixed for a year vs Nationwide 6.5% variable for a year?Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

If the money is all available at the start then the 5%, if it is available in monthly bits then the 6.5% So £1200 for the year @ 5% is £60. Or £100 a month @ 6.5% is £39. Or a mix of both with as much as possible going in for the full year.1

What about a 6 months regular saver at 7% plus? I’ve got two on the go with Principality. You can put £200 a month in.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1
